Dining etiquette
How much do we know about dining etiquette today, considering most people live in big cities and and the mad rush, do we forget about dining etiquette - either at someone's home (invited guest) or a restaurant?
I would like to add a YouTube link for the ladies: https://www.youtube.com/@JamilaMusayeva/videos I believe "dinning etiquette," is just not for gentlemen only, ladies always should be included as well. As I am not bias towards ladies. Like they should learn when they are young (childhood years)! Thank you! 😀🐨👩‍🦰🧔‍♂️
@Geoff Saunders I believe holding the tines of the fork facing upwards, can be deemed as an insult - like giving some one the finger, or a possible threat (knife). Like swinging a knife around when dinning with others, not a very gentlemanly thing to do when dinging with company!
Stop Waiting for "Someday"—It’s Time to Take Action
Let’s cut to the chase. How many times have you told yourself, “Someday, I’ll get in shape.” “Someday, I’ll take control of my finances.” “Someday, I’ll figure out what I really want in life.” Here’s the problem with “someday.” It doesn’t show up on the calendar. It doesn’t magically arrive in your inbox. And it doesn’t knock on your door saying, “Hey, ready to change your life?” But you already know that. Deep down, you know nothing will change unless you decide to take action. The kind of action that pulls you out of autopilot and puts you on a path to being the man you’ve always known you could be. That’s exactly what the Health Wealth Purpose program is all about. It’s not about quick wins or surface-level fixes—it’s about helping you create a life you’re proud of, one step at a time. Here’s how: Health: Imagine waking up with the energy and focus to tackle anything. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being consistent. Wealth: From building financial clarity to creating freedom, we’ll help you turn your money into a tool, not a source of stress. Purpose: The real driver of every great man’s success. We’ll help you define yours and set a course for a life filled with meaning and direction. You’re not here to live a mediocre life. You’re here to build a legacy—to make your time on this earth count. But none of that starts without a decision. Your decision. Don’t wait for “someday.” Take the first step today. Click here to learn more about Health Wealth Purpose and start your journey now. Because the only thing standing between you and the man you want to become is action. Make it happen.

I 100% agree, "Someday" is not on the calendar as there are 7 days, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. And there are the known public holidays and birthdays etc. And Yes Someday doesn't exist. We have to make it happen now I call it "Now-Day!" I also believe Health before wealth, as anyone can have wealth, but to maintain wealth, one MUST have health - Physical, mental and Spiritual, thus one can manage one's wealth with a clear mind, not clouded with garbage (AKA junk files)!

Oh! Someday can be liken to empty dreams, that never happen, ever! Or wishful thinking! I also believe to think positive always even when the chips are down, there's always hope over the horizon, Just have positive out look on life for one's self, and sooner than one may think, things mostly come together, may not be perfect, however, very close to being perfect is better than being negative about life. The good out weighs the bad! 😀Be happy as much as you can! Smile has a mile in it, so simile, like Covet19, its contagious!

Recommend watches
Greetings all, I looking into building my watch collection. What are some recommendations to start looking into? For example, a watch subscription, citizen watch etc.

If its your first watch, I would recommend an Olves 6650 (Analogue windup less than $90NZ) to see if it is what you like, and later upgrade to something better. However, depending however, one lives, avoid Rolex as one may get mugged. May be a $250 (NZD) watch? I would not recommend expensive watches for starter watches as they do the same thing as $2 watch, "tell you the time" however, nothing too cheap, would pay no less than $80 NZD, but no more than $250 NZD as one would be boasting and risking being mugged!
Dress Code for Ballet?
Today, my wife was gifted tickets to the ballet. I’m guessing sport coat or better will work? (Working on that culture thing!) Going to an upscale French restaurant (lunch) before. Thanks for any thoughts! @Antonio Centeno, I’ve seen a lot of your videos (appreciated!) - did I miss one on traditional dress codes for different events?

Traditionally one would wear a Tux, however, today a well fitted suit with a pocket square. otherwise: While there is no strict dress code for ballet performances, it's generally considered a formal or semi-formal occasion. Avoid casual attire like jeans, sneakers, or t-shirts. Instead, opt for elegant and refined clothing that complements the sophistication of the ballet performance.

@Tyler Neale True! I consider a Ballet like an opera, no casual outfits as like going to sports event. As Ballet and Opera is more formal than sport. Of course wearing casual to a ballet or opera, one may look out of place or even worst, refused entry.

I am an Australian living in New Zealand since 1982, and I don't dress like a slob, but a gentleman! I love this forum, wish it here in the 80's
