Phone & Tablet Slim Stand
After a busy month, I decided to participate in the Travels Essentials MakerWorld contest with a 3D printable phone and tablet stand. I designed the stand using SolidWorks, utilizing the 2D drawing features and basic fillet techniques to create it in a single piece. The most challenging part was incorporating Lamina Emergent Torsion (LET) joints to minimize the thickness of the stand and its moving parts. Consequently, it took 40 minutes to print on a standard 3D printer and just 26 minutes on a Bambulab 3D printer using the 0.2 mm basic profile. The stand is designed to be easy to print and must support both 7-inch and 10-inch tablets. Additionally, it should allow for easy access to the upper part of the screen without causing the device to tip over when touched, which can be an issue with some stands. Finally, the stand needs to be portable, with a maximum thickness of 1.5 mm and dimensions similar to a credit card, making it convenient to carry in a wallet. If you'd like to support me, I have provided a link to download the model for free: https://makerworld.com/en/models/744996#profileId-677824 Thank you guys!

@Avito Lourenco the contest consists of going to this link: https://makerworld.com/en/models/744996#profileId-677824, downloading, printing, and commenting on the model. More downloads and comments help to win the contest, and some judges collect all the data and select the winner 👍

The Wrench...
The Wrench is complete. I actually did it a while ago from one of the marketing emails that included the same tutorial as an example. I gave a satin black finish then "hand polished" the bottom and top surfaces. It looks like a wrench from an Aventador's tool kit. Pictures:

Piston Cylinder in SolidWorks
I recently finished my first project and as a mechanical engineer, I wanted to design something related to what I had studied. I found a tutorial on Youtube and designed this.. its a full design and assembly. Next up: Rendering

Nice work colleague @Jacob R. 👍
The Key...
I finished the key tutorial. There were some things that wouldn't cooperate as presented, but workarounds were easy enough to figure out. Here's a picture of it. Just an Isometric this time.
