New Blog Post: Stop Waiting for Love to Find You
Read the new blog post here Dating after 50 can feel exhausting. The apps disappoint. Conversations fizzle. People don't follow up. And after a while, it's easy to wonder: Are there any good people left? In my latest blog, I share some of the biggest takeaways from our recent community conversation—including why dating is partly a numbers game, why we need to stop waiting for the other person to make the first move, and how to create more opportunities to meet someone in real life. My biggest takeaway? ❤️ You can't control WHEN you'll meet the right person. But you can control HOW MANY opportunities you create for connection. 👉 Read the new blog: Dating After 50: Stop Waiting for Love to Find You Then tell me in the comments: What's one opportunity for connection you're willing to create this week?

@Tanya Fierro Some pics that are AI are sketchy. But some pics that are AI may be quite realistic. Here's the way I look at it. Not everyone can afford 500 to 1,000 dollars to hire a professional photographer to take the kind of pictures that attract for a dating profile and even then it can be hit or miss. Many professionals take great family, wedding or holiday pictures but are bad at taking pictures for dating photos. If a guy uploads a real picture of himself as a "reference image" for the AI to base a set of new pictures on, then the new pics may be allright, since the AI has a reference image to base the new images on. Plus Ai is getting to be more accurate and realistic than it used to be. You have greater control of lighting, camera angles and so on. The downside is if a guy misuses the AI to pretend that he is richer and has a better lifestyle than he really does, then that is a huge problem. AI can help a great deal, but it can also mislead, and that's why it's a tricky or thorny issue. I don't think it's fair to blame AI for everything negative, though it can have a negative downside. The dating world is very competitive, and so that complicates things.
Reframing Rejection
Rejection can also be a celebration. You may have dodged a bullet waving red flags. Rejection only hurts if we allow it to. Rejection is based on what our mind tells us about ourselves. Can he or she really reject you if he or she doesn't really know you yet? People do not reject you. They reject who they imagine you to be. People can only reject you if you give them permission to. Rejection only hurts when you give someone's opinion of you greater weight than your own. Have a awesome day!
The Decline And Fall?
In the 1950's, the percentage of women getting married before the age of 30 was 93% !!!! In the 2020's so far, it is only 28% !!!!! And there are many theories as to why this is happening!
The Decline And Fall?
Your mind isn't always the best place to solve the problem.
Especially when the problem is the state you're in. Have you ever caught yourself replaying the same conversation, the same email, or the same argument over and over, convinced that if you just replay it enough times, you'll finally figure it out? Sometimes that's true. But often, you're just going around in circles. One of the simplest things you can do is get up and go for a walk. Not because the walk magically solves the problem—but because it changes you. Your breathing slows. Your body starts moving. Your attention widens. The story in your head loses a little of its grip. Research by Jeffrey Miller and Zlatan Krizan found that even a brief walk can boost positive emotions—even when people don't expect it to. I've noticed this in my own life more times than I can count. I'll head out feeling frustrated, anxious, or stuck, and somewhere along the way the problem doesn't necessarily disappear... but I begin to see it differently. And that's often enough. We spend so much time trying to think our way into feeling better. Sometimes the fastest path is to move your body first. What is your preferred type of movement? Walk, run, bike, swim, yoga...Please comment below. Have you noticed how it impacts your mental state?

I like going for walks. Sometimes it helps. And sometimes it doesn't.
