Great words of wisdom! I watched the charts for a bit, but had already committed to no trading for the day. I saw a setup, but let it go, Infelt a little bit of fomo, but it was ok, I purposely wanted to feel that, and let it go, discipline and intention this year, gotta get to first payout!

Moment of Transparency:
Today I lost. I am in the red today guys. Here’s what I did wrong: I over leveraged I over traded I revenge traded I broke all of my rules. I traded news. I knew we would have a move up. I bought and the market moved so quickly at 8:30 it hit my stop loss and then immediately moved back up. All of this happened in about 5 seconds. I was impatient. I should have waited for the market to show me the upward direction and get in at a better time. This is also my journal entry for today. If I can’t hold myself accountable for what I am doing wrong I will not be profitable and achieve success with trading. I knew better. But I live to trade another day so I will stay positive and work hard to move away from bad habits.

When you’re feeling the impulse walk away, if you’re feeling FOMO, walk away. The best trades are emotionless, where you are taking a trade because the market showed you what you’re looking for in the area you are willing to look. If you’re sitting at the screen watching and thinking “oh I think it’s going *insert whatever”, walk away..that’s gambling at that point. It’s hard AF, but sticking to the rules of when you are NOT trading will help a lot. More often than not the best trade is no trade.

First we need to see where your demand zone is, also are you entering based on a 5M SM criteria once in your Demand zone? Was the Demand zone created during the NY session, or is it just a 1 hr zone where price closed above a fractal? Provide a screenshot of your higher timeframe plan area and your lower timeframe entry, that will help us provide you with the proper feedback. =)

Day Trading Struggles 😭
What has been your biggest challenge with day trading AND what about Day 2's session gives you confidence you can overcome that challenge?

My biggest challenge has been trusting the process and second guessing myself, I watch trades I was going to take but didn’t win, and trades I took but shouldn’t have lose..I went through a period the last few months of mental anguish and depression tying my self worth to my trading results, this resulted in fear of failure and hesitation to execute, I have worked through all of this and am coming out the other side with a better frame of mind and trading psychology, trading has held a mirror up in front of me and has forced me to deal with and overcome traumas and psychological discomfort I have held down for years.
