Three hours. For a face that’ll live under a mask. Did it matter? Maybe no one will ever see it. Did I paint every wrinkle, every vein, every cracked tooth anyway? Absolutely. Because details aren’t optional — they’re everything. 👁️ Even when it’s hidden. Even when it’s “just a figure.” Even when no one’s looking. That’s the difference between making something… and bringing it to life.

Every shade you see here — every highlight, shadow, and subtle transition — was created using oil paints only 🎨 No digital color grading. No airbrushing tricks. Just layered oils, patience, and an obsessive focus on realism. The skin tones were built slowly, mixing warm and cool hues to capture depth, age, and life — proving that oil paint alone can achieve incredibly natural, complex color variation. A portrait inspired by an iconic presence, brought to life one brushstroke at a time. ✨ Art is in the details.

I wanted to do the Demogorgon, but not just the usual flat gray.I leaned way more into organic, fleshy tones — bruised purples, sickly pinks, desaturated greens — like it actually grew instead of being molded.More muscle, more veins, more “this thing is alive and breathing.”Creepy, messy, and biological 👁️#demogorgon #strangerthings #creature #fyp #art
