I am kinda overwhelmed, Just trying to find out where to start. I made 2 lights for my kitchen and dining table.

Hey everyone! My name is Trevor Short. I am excited to join this community and wanted to share my inspiration. I am still very new to woodworking but not new to working with my hands. I have been working with Leather the last three years and I been wanting to do projects with wood and leather. Some big inspiration I’ve grown up with is music and machines. I have been playing guitar for over 20 years now and I have been a machinist for about 8 years now. At home I have a shop with a laser, a lathe and plan to get a CNC machine soon. My goal is to start making guitars and apply all the materials and skill I’ve learned to make masterpieces. However I’m still learning. I really look forward to getting some feedback on my project to better myself. Attached is a cribbage board I made for my Pop’s for Father’s Day and I can’t help but think how cool it would be if it was made with hardwood. I will probably make something similar in the future.
