I want to make a butcher block table. What is the smallest length of board I can use. I have a ton of 4 to 10 inch pieces of hardwood. I would love to use all of them to make a table about 5 feet long. They are all about 2 inches thick or should I use them to make a cutting board only?

I finally built an all in one workbench to keep all my woodworking tools on. I still have a few things left to do on it. Need to add some trim on the top and add some t-track on the top. Sorry for the mess. Its still being organized while building a few projects.

Some days it's better to just leave the shop and have a cocktail. Today is one of those.
