I think it's a step in the right direction. With new major label companies and now distributors aligning with the companies they were trying to limit and shut down, it shows this is here to stay. More artists are coming out saying they use Ai in their own work. One thing I don't like is that we can send the songs straight from Suno to Tunecore. I don't want to be limited (in the future) to possibly having only to distribute with only Tunecore. I want to be able to choose my own distributor.

I've been with Suno since they rolled out and only did 15 second clips. I've tested other models and I always end up back with Suno. Put simply, they know what they are doing. Nothing else comes close to the balance of creativity and control they offer. I played with Udio for a while. It was good, then it tanked right before the whole "no download" thing.

They claim a lot. Most of it fails if you look at a spectral graph. Some cleaning is done, a lot of garbage is left though. Their big claim is removing Suno from the C2PA embedded text. Problem is Suno was not mentioned in the C2PA before early August. There are programs out there where you modify the C2PA yourself. It's fine to balance things out and tweak the track. Trying to remove any AI markers will now get you into trouble because it is against Suno's TOS. I wouldn't worry too much about Suno, other than banning you from the platform. I would worry more about their partners Warner and BMI coming after you. The platform is now trained on their licensed catalogs. The credit they get (along with a slice of distribution) comes from those markers. All you are looking at right now is a badge on the profile. Is a badge or no badge really worth the potential headache?

I agree that Treblo is not ready for prime time. The songs don't have the dynamic or higher resolution. The genre targeting, instrumentation, and general mix is what it's good at. I'm using Treblo to get a general sound using my vibe from auto tag feature. Then I download the song, clean it, and upload to Suno. I have Suno do a inspo, cover, or mix of the Treblo song. The Suno generation tends to sound better than if I do a basic prompt and have to go back into Studio to finish out the track.

@Terrence Bullock I can do that. Here are two links to the same song. The first on is the Treblo version. I cleaned it to remove the pops and clicks inherent to all music. The song is basic, but I liked how the vocal reverb was done. The cleaning step is not required, but it gives Suno a clean track to work from. The second is the track that Suno generated as a cover of the same song. I gave Suno the same lyrics that I gave Treblo. From the beginning you can hear that Suno brought out the keyboard that is barely heard in the Treblo version. At the 0:48 mark there is a small uptick in creativity from Suno. At the 2:17 mark of the Suno generation you can hear where Suno steps up the song while not drifting with the voice characteristics and added a bit more instrument distortion. Suno kept the vocal reverb and the base beat from the Treblo version that I originally liked. For full disclosure, I am running the Treblo version through my own model on Suno. I also cleaned this Suno track from the pops and clicks.

@Diego Jinkus I've been using Suno since v1.0 when it first launched and could only do 15-second clips. I've gotten real good results with the prompting that I do, including getting those specific sections for Rhodes, moog, and specific guitars. I use a pro account to access a few advanced features of Suno for small rework, but mainly for the wav download and inspo features. If you want some assistance, feel free.
