YouTube channel and DistroKid
Good afternoon and blessings. I have a question: now that I’ve created my YouTube channel for my artist, should I upload a video first before claiming it on DistroKid? I’m a bit confused—thanks.

Yes, that is what distrokid recommends.
🔥 CHECK OUT AI MUSIC EMPIRE 🔥
This is one of the cool skill-based challenges we run exclusively inside the paid community. I send payment directly to the winners via PayPal. https://www.skool.com/aimusic/about?ref=445950dbba7e4f1688f9595a1dd26860 Members created their own music videos, and now the community is voting to choose the winner. I wanted you guys in AI Guerrilla to see what everyone has been working on because they’re getting better every single month. Next month’s music video contest is already coming up, so anybody who wants to participate, sharpen their skills, and compete with the community needs to get inside AI Music Empire. @Kimberly Bowden I actually have this in the paid skool community. I did have one in here, but too many people have 50 skool accounts and were cheating unfortunately.

Workarounds for Current Youtube Music/Distrokid Issue
Hi all, I have been hearing chatter and experienced myself that there has been an issue with getting our music posted to YouTube Music in the past few months. I was wondering if anybody has found any workarounds/things to ask support/best practices/even trying a different distributor to ensure that our music goes live in a reasonable time frame. My first, third, and fourth albums have not gone live, but my second album has (and 30k views for my very first live album on YouTube!). Add a comment if you are experiencing this issue as well, if you are having zero problems, if you have any tips for this period of time, or if you have seen any information or articles surrounding this. Thanks!!

Yup, very unfortunate.
Distrokid Issues with Claiming Artist (Update)
So after getting in contact with Distrokid support, the account got banned basically along with 3 artists that were in there. Im not sure what the reason was for that to be honest, I stuck to 1 album per artist per week, the albums were very different from each other in style and honestly i just dont know what could have led to this as i took every precaution. Super bummed about it...

1 - 2 albums per week per account maximum. An album must fully publishbefore publishing another. 1 account per artist is my recommendation 💪 Sounds like you were uploading to much on one account to me. But could be any reason.

@Fakhri Babayev Don't upload a bunch of albums and schedule them out, that is a spam signal imo.
