Interesting ChatGPT story

🎨 ChatGPT quietly killed Canvas
If you've been searching for the Canvas button in ChatGPT and coming up empty... you're not imagining things. OpenAI has started phasing Canvas out. As of the newer GPT-5.5 models, it's no longer available, and the shutdown for everyone else is only a matter of time. A few things worth knowing: - Canvas isn't gone completely... it's being folded into "Writing Blocks", editable documents that appear inside your normal chat - For bigger, more polished deliverables (reports, spreadsheets, presentations), OpenAI is pushing people towards a newer feature called "ChatGPT Work" - None of this has been clearly announced or explained... which is why it just feels like the button vanished My honest take... this is a pattern worth watching, not just with Canvas. Features you rely on today can disappear or move with very little warning. Worth checking in on the tools you depend on every so often, rather than assuming they'll stay put. Has Canvas disappeared for you too? Or have you already found your way to Writing Blocks or Work? 👇

All change as ChatGPT tries to catch up
🇵🇹 Portugal Retreat 2027 is live in the Academy
I've been sitting on this for months, and today it's finally live. The AI Academy is going to Portugal. Two days that could change how you use AI in your firm ... in a small group of no more than 25 AI Academy members ... on the coast of Portugal in March 2027. Here's what's happening: - Wednesday 3 March: Welcome wine tasting evening - Thursday 4 and Friday 5 March: Two full days of intensive AI working sessions at the Vila Galé Hotel in Ericeira - Pre-dinner drinks with the group on both evenings We'll work through your real AI challenges together. Prompt engineering ... automations ... how AI agents actually fit into a firm ... whatever you're stuck on right now. This isn't a slide-fest. It's roll-up-your-sleeves work with peers who get it. For the next few days only, you can grab your place at the flash sale price of $395. But ONLY IF YOU ARE AN AI ACADEMY MEMBER. There is currently a free 7-day trial here, https://www.skool.com/theaiacademy/about That price is only live until 8am UK time on Friday. After that, it jumps to $495, and it keeps stepping up from there ... full standard price is $1,600. You'll find the brochure below 👇 I'd love to see you there. What's the one AI challenge you'd love to work through if you were sitting in that room with us? Drop it below 👇

Booked and looking forward to it. This is where we can make a real difference to how we run our businesses and also the way we deliver value to our clients. Feel like I have come a long way but it changes every day so looking forward to hearing what everyone else is doing and adding to my "to do" list LOL. THansk for arranging this @Mark Wickersham
📂 ChatGPT Now Has a Proper File Library
Ever uploaded a document to ChatGPT and then spent 10 minutes trying to find it again three days later? OpenAI quietly introduced a Library feature back in March 2026 ... and it's now available to all users, including free accounts. It solves one of the most annoying things about ChatGPT. Here's how it works. Every file you upload to ChatGPT ... PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images ... gets saved automatically to your Library. Same goes for any files ChatGPT creates for you, including generated images. The useful bit is you can pull any saved file back into a new chat. Just use the attachment menu and choose "Add from library." No more scrolling through months of old conversations. A few things worth knowing: - Your chats are NOT stored in Library ... it's purely for files - Memories are separate too ... Library doesn't touch those - Project files live in their own space inside Projects - Deleting a chat doesn't delete the files you uploaded ... they stay in Library until you remove them Storage depends on your plan. Free gets 500MB. Plus and Business get 20GB. Pro gets 100GB. My honest take? It sounds small but it changes how you work. If you're regularly uploading client templates, engagement letters, or reference documents ... you only need to upload them once. Then reuse them across any conversation. Having said that, I prefer to keep important files that I want to be referenced often as 'project files'. And I find myself now working mainly inside Codex (ChatGPT) and Cowork. Have you spotted the Library in your ChatGPT yet? Are you using it? 👇

I have not looked at the files yet but will do as already thinking of where that will be useful for templates and technical resources. Interesting to know if it will compete with NotebookLM as I use that as a library?
What is your #1 priority with AI?

I am working on automating as much of our admin first and then marketing. Already seen substantial time savings with the cowork systems we have set up
