Downsizing
I’m going to downsize on some designers I never reach for. All would be 90-99% full, if interested PM me for list.

So it begins
I present to you the very humble beginnings of my collection. I started my journey in January, and through ordering many, many sample decants, spraying testers in stores, and watching way too much content, I’ve learned what I’m really looking for and what I like best. This began with the Explorer and Dylan Blue, as “starter” fragrances that I liked very early on. I found they were pleasing and easy to wear anywhere, and really got me used to wearing a scent every day. Bonus that my wife compliments them both all the time. They are still very reliable workhorses. My wife really expressed her love for the Light Blue eau intense, and it was very lucky to order one at $60 the week before it was announced to be discontinued and they shot up to $90. This will be my scent of the summer until I get Paradise Garden. The latest addition is Polo 67 EDT that I plan to use for work, mostly. I enjoy how classy it feels while still feeling fun and refreshing. They really did a good job with this line. Any suggestions for what I should add down the line?

My advice is keep what you’re doing and try everything first, take it slow and enjoy the experience. Advice I wish I would have taken. I blitzed it and now I have fragrances I don’t use as often and ones I sampled I wish I had in their place. Buy seasonality. You have a good base of all year and fresh summer. As cooler weather sets in, if you live in that climate I’d suggest trying out some fragrances that fit those climates, ie vanilla, spices, tobacco, coffee, woody fragrances.

New Rayhaans - Azul and Aloha
Good evening gents! So these came out of nowhere for me... today at 9PM ET Rayhaan launched Azul and Aloha, available in Beauty House. Not much is known of these other than they're duping Dior Homme Cologne and Wavechild (reportadely), and first impressions seem to be VERY positive. Wouldn't think much of that, as these first impressions are coming from influencers AT the Rayhaan launch event, but still. They launched at $44, but there's plenty of Beatuy House codes for a 10% off, so $40. Now, I don't really blind buy, but broke that rule today. I love Homme Cologne, but as it's notorious for, performance is not bad... it's almost non-existent. With Rayhaans recent hits, figured it can't be bad, and am willing to risk $40. We'll see!

Least Favorite Fragrance in your collection
Just curious, I know none of us want to think we made a bad purchase…..What are some of your LEAST favorite scent in your collections? It could be something bought as a blind buy or something you liked in the store but disliked once you got it home and now just takes a spot never to be worn again or maybe your tastes have changed? I have 3 in my collection all blind buys cheapies Lattafa Brioche Vanille Raghba Wood Intense Maison Alhambra lovely Cherie

@Ricardo Castro I used grey flannel in elementary as well, my dad bought me it. I should pick up a bottle just for nostalgia.

I have a couple I’m not fans of. 1) Mont Blanc Explorer 2) Zaharoff Seraphim Blue 3) Versace Man Eau Fraiche Those are really the only ones I dislike Ones I could part with due to either just having something I reach for more in the space: JPG Le Male Parfum JPG Le Male Elixir 1 Million Lucky YSL Iced Burberry Hero EDT V&R Spicebomb Extreme Boss Bottled Beyond Georgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Parfum Polo 67 EDP (I’m probably the only one who prefers the EDT because to me it projects more) Polo Ralph’s Club NY Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense (I prefer Coral Fantasy or extradose and this is redundant) None of those are bad I just gravitate towards others in my collection and these sit the most
SOTD: City Rhythm San Diego “Pacific Sunset”
I think this could be a Warm weather signature scent worthy fragrance, I believe it to lean more day time use than evening despite the “sunset” being in the name. A transitional fragrance in that the opening is citrus forward with blood orange and sea salt accords that moves in to a subdued vanilla creamy almond scent profile with light florals. If you love vanilla and want to include that accord into your warm weather rotation, perhaps check out San Diego. I’m going to go through all the City Rhythm fragrances I have and then rank them later. Also, if you could give me a like or follow on YouTube or TikTok I’d appreciate it or comment on what you want to see.

@Trev Marcks yeah, I have a collection set of 12 30ml bottles of each fragrance. I don’t have Martha’s Vinyard, Savannah, or New Orleans nor the two non city named ones Pulse and j forget the other one.

@Trev Marcks yes, I think they have excellent presentation. The bottles and the atomizers are so nice. They are all extrait de Parfums so they last a long time on skin but in my experience, projection is average at best, and some stay a skin scent for the entirety. Many also smell similar to one another and have boozy accords or tobacco which I enjoy both. I think most are geared towards a night out or special occasion. I believe the stand outs are San Diego, Miami, Austin, Nashville, St. John’s and the two redlines, 2654, 8641. My least favorites at the moment are Barcelona , Puerto Rico, and Manhattan Midnight, but I need to give Manhattan Midnight a full wearing. I think regular Manhattan is just ok. If I were to say my favorites at the moment top thee are 2654, Austin, and Nashville.
