What color should a hat be?
Most of my hats and caps are black. I wear mostly brown leathers (Boots/Shoes, Belts, Jackets, and Watchstraps) and a lot of times I wear blue denim (jackets and jeans) or Navy suits and blazers. Is this okay? Should I get brown or blue hats? Should the hat match the shoes, shirt, pants, not match at all, or something else? Or maybe I just just wear my red MAGA hat all the time?
Can fragrances be applied on clothing?
Could/should I apply a fragrance on my clothing? I like to smell good but I don't want to put chemicals on my skin. I am not too worried about staining as I wear mostly darker clothing. Also would the fragrance last as long or smell the same when applied to clothing versus skin?

@Bill Hertzing I don't have any specific scents yet as I am just starting to look into fragrances. Is there a difference between colognes and oils?

@Alex Kilpatrick I am referring to unnatural chemicals and products. After what I've read and heard I don't even like wearing polyester clothing or using most soaps or shampoos. I realize that it's probably overkill, but why take the risk?
Favorite Style Accessories
It should be fair to say that most men have favorite accessories that might even be considered part of our “signature” style. Here are my top three favorite style accessories: 1. Neckerchiefs: I LOVE to wear a neckerchief or ascot and have as many of those as I do pocket squares. I feel as though it can add a little pop to an otherwise normal casual outfit. 2. Signet rings: A signet ring is also part of my daily accessories, and it’s very rare that I leave the house without wearing one. They’re also subtle but add just the right amount of extra to the outfit. 3. Watch: Even though it is usually a smartwatch (see my other post) I rarely leave the house without a watch on. Tell me what are your signature accessories?

In order: -Hat -Watch -Sunglasses -Knife or Multi-tool -Chain (I'm not sure if a belt counts as an accessory, but I usually have one on.)
New suit… To pleat or not to pleat?
It seems that style is shifting away from flat front pants, but honestly, I don’t know if pleats are the best look either… What do you think? I recently picked up a NWT Daniel Cremieux Signature series suit for $99 (originally. 2,000) at the local Dillards. It is made in Italy, super 170s wool, and it has pleats…

I think flat-front looks cleaner and more fitted. I always thought pleats made it look like the pants were too big and you just cinched it in with the belt.
Gotta go fast
Got a seven and a half minute mile this morning. I'll get that six yet

Congratulations! I'm still chasing that elusive sub-7 mile.
