Skool vs Mighty Network?
I am looking for other Skool alternatives (possibly free or low cost). I know Skool is a great platform and I spend a lot of time here, especially in Conscious entrepreneurs. But I am looking for other alternatives and an honest review. I might get a client who is not yet ready to spend $100 on a community platform but can start soon. Eventually we want to move to Skool. I will love to know what do you think about Mighty network as an option. It has $49 plan

@Satyarth Swami its like a message or discussion board. You can have a look at www.discourse.org There they offer to host it for you, but for crazy prices. But its nice for checking what the thing could look like, and with putting in some work you can set it up for pennies

@Satyarth Swami as far as I know, you could implement courses and stuff, but only with further knowledge and probably some coding. I haven't looked too much into it, since skool has everything I need so far
How do you meditate? Does it help?
I tried meditating in lots of ways but I am yet to find something that calls me. With too much client work it is something that is running on the back of my mind. How do you meditate? Do you have tips for a beginner?

@Satyarth Swami yes, vipassana is powerful and yet so simple. And useful even in every day life situations. When panic arises, observe. When anxiety, anger, hate, ecstacy, sadness, joy or pain arises, observe. Simple, but not easy Do you have any more insights on Osho? i know some people who follow his teachings, he always appeared to me as too much of a cult leader. What do you think?

@Rishi Lamba great to hear that, you motivate me to pick up on my routine again! 🤠 What's your biggest challenge when meditating?
I am unbalanced.
In the past few days and weeks, I’ve been struggling to maintain balance between body, mind, and soul. For the longest time, I thought that during high-stress career periods, my body routine (workout) would be the first casualty. But actually, it’s my mind that suffers first. It gets overtaken by a compulsion to think and plan. Even when I take time for my physical health, my thoughts bounce around at a high frequency like a monkey on speed (no actual experience here🙉). Although I have tools to counter this, I don’t allow myself to use them to calm my mind, which means my body and soul don’t get the attention they need. Part of me is addicted to that monkey on speed. Addicted to the hustle. And that part shouts louder than the one that knows better— the part that knows I would be healthier and reach my goals faster overall if I maintained balance. We talked a bit about meditation in this group recently, which got me thinking. How are you all doing? Do you feel balanced?

As far as I can tell from looking at successful community leaders, its best to have a free skool which funnels people to the paid skool(s)🤔
How to take one time fee for your Skool Community
Lots of people were asking this question so I have created this video. Skool does not offer an option to charge a one-time fee for your Skool membership. This video is the complete tutorial on how you can still do it by integrating it with third-party solutions. I have used Pabbly and Stripe for this example. At the end of the training, you will have a working automation where people pay a one-time or lifetime membership fee and are automatically invited to your Skool group. If you have any questions or doubts about it, ask in the comments here. Important point: Once taking all these steps, convert your Skool to "paid" and ask people to enter their "email," which they used to make payments. This way, if anyone tries to join directly or there is any failure in the automation, you can manually enter them. It is highly unlikely but software issues are always there.

thank you very much. in Germany it is a hazzle to convince people to use their credit card, so having the option for Paypal payment is gold

I wonder if pabble complies with legal regulations in Germany, since Europe has its own laws which require a certain level of data security. I sent an email to their support and will update here in case someone here in the tribe is from Europe as well
