I think maybe
Might be time to stop calling these palette knife paintings an experiment and make it my thing. I really enjoy the process of painting like this, which to me is just as important as the results. 11" x 14" oil on arches oil paper

It will be sad to no longer see your work
Another Plein Air
A 10"x8" plein air oil painting. I'm not sure how people crank out paintings in a couple hours outside. I've gone back several days for my paintings so far.

I was already wondering how you achieved this amount of colour depth and variation wet on wet, but this explains it: you let it sit and dry for a while and return! I noticed several times now, especially with buildings or more complex scenes, that I find myself doing touchups back home (from the photos made on the day, mostly).
Plein Air
A small 8"x6" plein air oil painting.

Started painting early 2025, in acrylics, I also experiment with gouache, soft pastels and recently water miscible oils. No art school background.
