What is your average cost to acquire a new community member?
Let me ask you what your average cost is for acquiring a new community member through cold Facebook ads. I know it varies significantly depending on the niche, target audience, and offer, but I’m interested in getting at least a rough benchmark. At the moment, I’m paying around €10 per member for my free community, which feels quite high to me. What results are you getting? And what have you found works to lower your cost per member? Do you send people directly from the ad to your community landing page, or do you use a lead magnet first and then invite them into the community? I’d love to hear your experience and any tips. 🙏

🚀 Grow
I plan to grow to 1k in August. Do you want to know WHY & HOW?
i am gonna use a dirty marketing tactic. i know, i know... UPDATE: we are above 100 comment. here is the event. check your eligibility. it is very easy to get there. trust me. see you there if i get 100 comments under this post 🤦🏻‍♀️, i will do a live/recording available to everyone at lvl 3+ ONLY 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ - the Hackers (check here) and explain the how and the why and answer all your questions. only 3 things to do: - comment below anything, even if you hate it - tell me - check your current level here and if you are not lvl 3, then - get there - it is simple - post, comment, watch a calendar 🤭... do the thing that you are supposed to do as a good community member... it is controversial (in my playbook) yet, i am doing it. cause nothing off limits if it helps my members to get results. cause that's the ultimate goal.

@Lidia Axe No, I've pulled back, been doing interviews with my community, seeing what they need, and trying to work on the things you told me.

@Lidia Axe oh I'm finding some interesting things out. Thankfully my members aren't quiet about what they want.
Call w/ Lidia
Lidia recently spent an entire hour helping me today diagnose what was not working in my communities. She asked the right questions, challenged my assumptions, and helped me identify problems I had been too close to see clearly on my own. Running a community can feel isolating. You are constantly creating content, supporting members, testing offers, and trying to understand why something is not producing the results you expected. Having someone willing to slow down, listen, and help you work through the problem is invaluable. I walked away from our conversation with much more clarity about what needed to change and what I should focus on next. I honestly could not have done it without her. And for those of you who still have not upgraded to Lidia’s paid community you are missing out on an incredible amount of additional support, insight, and value. Honestly, you would be crazy not to take advantage of it. Thank you, Lidia, for giving me your time, experience, and honest feedback. It made a bigger difference than you probably realize. 🙏

200+ Members, But Here's What I Was Missing
I had a great chat with Lidia on today's weekly live check-in call, and it helped me realise something I was completely overlooking. A few of my biggest takeaways: - I'm now at 200+ members in my community from Meta ads (cold traffic), and I'm at the stage where the challenge isn't getting people into the community—it's learning how to nurture them and build trust. - One of the biggest pieces of feedback was to start creating more videos inside the community. I've been having conversations with members in DMs, but people haven't really had the chance to hear my voice, see me consistently, or get familiar with me. That familiarity is what builds trust. - It was also a great reminder that, especially in the early stages, we have to keep showing up. Even if it feels like it's mostly us posting and commenting, consistency is what lays the foundation for an engaged community over time. - We also spoke about introducing my first paid offer and taking more of a page-first approach—focusing on the outcome, promise, process, and marketing before building everything else. My biggest takeaway... Getting people into your community is only the first step. Learning how to nurture them is just as important. People need the opportunity to get to know you, hear your voice, see you consistently, and build trust before they're ready to take the next step. I also just wanted to say that Lidia's Community Income Mastermind has been incredible so far. I genuinely think there's value no matter what stage of business you're at—whether you're just starting out, still figuring things out, or already building momentum. Having someone with more experience who can give honest feedback, challenge your thinking, and offer a different perspective has been incredibly valuable. And as someone based in Australia, I really appreciate that these weekly live check-in calls are APAC-friendly. Being able to attend live instead of catching the replay makes a huge difference.

@Tanmay More I think one of the biggest mistakes is that community owners don't have a clear pathway for their members. You need to get them in, give them a few quick wins and then nurture them along a roadmap of some kind.
