Painters Hub is Closing This Week
Hey Artists This is my final post in Painters Hub. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I've decided to close this group. The billing cycle runs out in the next couple of days, so this is goodbye. It's been a good run, and I'm grateful to everyone who's been part of it. If you want to keep painting with me, check out live classes, a tutorial library, and a community of fellow landscape painters at Sam's Landscape Painting School. It's where I'm putting all my energy now. Whether you paint in oils, gouache, or acrylics, there's plenty there for you and more being added all the time. You can join here: https://go.samuelearp.com/landscape-painting-school Happy painting. Sam

Hi @Samuel Earp. All the best with Sam's Landscape Painting School. Thank you for hosting the Painters Hub community. It has been a great help for a new artist like myself. I will keep watch for the bundled tutorial video offerings, as this fits better with my time and budgeting.

Very nice piece @Robert Reichard. You have a very impressive and unique style to all your works.
My rendition of Mt. Talbot
Although this is not complete, I thought this might be my last chance to post a painting. This work is on paper. The paper is primed with latex paint and my own homemade gesso. It is a composition of 2 of Sam’s compilations of Mount Talbot. I have not started the final highlights and details yet, especially in the water. My own critique is that sky is way to blue and not enough shadows/contrast in the rocks. (The light is coming from the right.) Also maybe too much repetition in the rocks on the left. As usual, I would appreciate some constructive feedback.

Father Michelle
My last post before the group closes. On the Camino Primativo in 2017 enroute to Lugo we met Father Michelle, a Catholic priest in his 80's. Thanks Sam for the start your postings on you tube and in Skool that you have given me through your inspirations and organised approach to landscape painting. Much appreciated.

Very well done @Peter Rawlinson . (At first glance, I thought it it was a photograph) The sky colouring is bang on. Like Brian mentioned above, I too feel the depth and distance. Love the trees, the shadows and the overall lighting in the entire scene.
