I'm Joe, one of the founders of Maven Mansion and the Director of Operations for our anchor location and HQ in Tampa, FL. I'm also the founder of Maven Media, Maven Modeling, and co-founder & CEO of our affiliated charity Charisma Couture. My goal with this community is to scale our network in the fashion, modeling, photography, content creation, and content house industries around the nation, build out an affiliate network of luxury brands, and give back to the community. By linking our skillsets and vision under the Maven brands we have a unique competitive advantage by moving in the same direction as a team playing from the same playbook. This is how we've turned networking into a team sport that has allowed us to level up so quickly in Tampa Bay, Orlando, Las Vegas, and Miami, with additional reach over time as we continue to scale out the brand. The core topic discussed last week was that of the industry blacklist for protecting talent from predatory individuals, both male and female, photographers and models alike. Maven Mansion has the Tampa Bay Blacklist shown below. If you have questions, DM us on IG. If we have the details and are at liberty to divulge them, then we will. As always this really is for your own personal safety as well as protecting your personal brand. Remember, working with certain individuals and/or agencies on the list will result in being perceived as though you're doing OF or sleeping with the photographer or brand's owner because in some instances that's exactly what happens with a lot of the models they work with. The best way to avoid that perception is to avoid working with them in the first place. Also, photographers retain the copyright to any TFP content you shoot with them, so don't be surprised if your content ends up on their OF or Patreon where you have no control over how it is used or sold. Always have a contract for TFP shoots denying this usage. And remember, just because an initial shoot went well with someone doesn't mean repeat shoots will. Sometimes boundaries don't get pushed and tested until later, so be mindful of when this occurs. That process of testing boundaries slowly over time is known by another name: Grooming. Overwatch for the regional modeling scene by prioritizing safety--providing physical security and background investigations--to ensure a professional, "red-flag-free" environment for our community members. Our Mission: Cross-Promotion & Connection At its core, Maven is a high-level network of business professionals, agencies, models, and photographers. We are dedicated to cross-promotion. We’ve moved away from external referrals to service the Central Florida region directly, opening doors for our members that are often closed to those working in isolation.
