The core topic discussed last week was that of the industry blacklist for protecting talent from predatory individuals, both male and female, photographers and models alike. Maven Mansion has the Tampa Bay Blacklist shown below. If you have questions, DM us on IG. If we have the details and are at liberty to divulge them, then we will. As always this really is for your own personal safety as well as protecting your personal brand. Remember, working with certain individuals and/or agencies on the list will result in being perceived as though you're doing OF or sleeping with the photographer or brand's owner because in some instances that's exactly what happens with a lot of the models they work with. The best way to avoid that perception is to avoid working with them in the first place. Also, photographers retain the copyright to any TFP content you shoot with them, so don't be surprised if your content ends up on their OF or Patreon where you have no control over how it is used or sold. Always have a contract for TFP shoots denying this usage. And remember, just because an initial shoot went well with someone doesn't mean repeat shoots will. Sometimes boundaries don't get pushed and tested until later, so be mindful of when this occurs. That process of testing boundaries slowly over time is known by another name: Grooming. Maven Mansion is principally a network of networks focused on promoting the visual arts whether that be artists, glamor, fitness, & fashion models, and brands we network with. While we are friends with exotic dancers and only fans models, we no longer publicly promote their material at this time. In the past we referred models to external agencies but we have since stood up our own to service Tampa Bay and the Central Florida region. We also source locations through our network of mansions and content houses for events and shoots, some of which we'll organize or co-host ourselves. We're also the defacto overwatch for Tampa Bay's modeling industry and provide both physical security and background investigations when questions/red flags arise. Ultimately our focus is on promoting the visual arts as a charity and high end networking, which combined has allowed us to connect models, agencies, and brands with one another. In doing so we have opened tremendous doors and opportunities that would otherwise be closed, both for ourselves and for the members of our network.
