Skill is time management/priorities and making good choices about commitment, sometimes real life consequences are the best teachers- but so hard to WATCH!

When your teen takes the initiative and strives to do a good job/tries their best. Trying to balance a 40hr work week and homeschooling, and teaching.

one of our labs is elephant toothpaste! My class really enjoyed the potential/kinetic - chemical energy lab we did before break where we launched a 2 liter bottle across the church kitchen floor!

I feel like my kids are pretty well rounded. Music, sports, arts, scouts, robotics and church. I encourage them to try new leadership roles, do new things but also do what they love. You love to play piano let's buy some new music from your new video game, you want to work with power tools alright let's teach you how, you want to learn survival skills okay! I feel like it's a lot of saying yes and being okay with failing (them or you or both) while still balancing some rest or Sabbath time.
