What if Releasing Debt isn't About Money at All?
I recently realized that I was carrying significantly more debt than usual. T his was due to working with a team to rebuild my website and set up systems, which resulted in higher expenses. While I view these costs as an investment in my business, I was still feeling uncomfortable about the situation. Even though I have erased my debt in the past, and have helped a lot of clients and students release their debt; (Oh, the stories I could tell, but let's continue), I knew something was being revealed that was ready to be released. So, I did something I often guide my clients through: I made a bold declaration: “I don’t know how all of my credit card debt is released and forgiven. I only know it is now, and I am fulfilled.” It was a powerful One Command, but as anyone who’s ever tried to manifest something big knows… the words are just the beginning. Immediately after speaking it, I paused. And that’s where the real work began. As I tuned in, I felt the tension—the energetic weight of fear, shame, and a few persistent thoughts that quietly whispered, "You should’ve handled this better." "You’re asking for too much." "You don’t get to just walk away from this." These are the moments where most people get stuck. Not because their desire is wrong or impossible, but because a hidden belief is still calling the shots. So I did what I help my clients do—I got curious, not critical. I asked, What am I carrying that doesn’t belong in the new version of me I’m becoming? What came through was a vision… I saw myself at a door, heavy backpack slung over my shoulder, filled with old stories, invoices, expectations, and silent contracts to carry the burden alone. And then—I handed it over. Not dropped. Not ignored. Released to a higher power that never needed me to carry it in the first place. The door opened. What was on the other side wasn’t just a debt-free life—it was a life where debt had no relevance. A new chapter. One defined not by fixing or earning, but by receiving, creating, and leading from a place of full alignment.
