Embracing Impermanence
One of the core Zen teachings is impermanence, everything is always changing. We don’t need to stay forever young, but we can stay vibrant by moving gently every day. This body will change and age, and that’s part of life. Through consistent movement, we support vitality while learning to accept the natural unfolding of time.

Movement medicine done! Good morning all Thank you Drew. Today my little grandson turns 1 year.
How to Generate Joy
Today we move and breathe mindfully, inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh, my first and perhaps greatest mindfulness teacher. This isn’t about escaping life or sitting on a mountaintop. It’s about bringing mindfulness into everyday moments so we can experience more of this beautiful life. Move mindfully. Breathe mindfully. And notice how joy begins to arise from within.

Movement done for yesterday 😔
Mindful Cardio under the Broccoli Tree
Today we continue the theme of simplicity through mindful movement and gentle cardio. When we truly pay attention and bring full presence into what we’re doing, we get so much more out of the experience. At the same time, we continue building the endurance that helps us get out into the world and fully live. Move with presence. Move with purpose.

@Andy Morrison Belated Happy birthday Andy! May life give you all of its goodness and magic as you surrender to it! Be well! Be filled with Joy!
Embrace the Small Moments
It’s the small moments we string together throughout a day, a week, and a lifetime that create something extraordinary. Today let’s move with appreciation for the breath, the movement, and the quiet moments of joy that are so easy to overlook. When we learn to notice and savor the small moments, life begins to feel richer and more meaningful. Move well today.

Move Like a Kid Again
Today we move with childlike wonder and awe. No destination, no pressure, just movement for the joy of it. As we continue building mobility, balance, and strength, let’s also reconnect with curiosity, playfulness, and the simple joy of being able to move our bodies. Move like a child today.

Thanks Drew, loved the movement and meditation. Would like to share a word I came across The Way of Hado Hado is the life energy vibration that is present in all things, animate and inanimate. When you walk through a Japanese garden, you can truly feel the life force energy that is known as hado. Hado isn’t just present in Japan, but it is a concept that has existed in Japan for centuries. The two Japanese characters that make up the word hado mean “wave” and “move” — perfect words to describe the energy vibrations that permeate all life. Hado is present in all things, animate and inanimate. It resides everywhere, even in the air and in people. The study of hado tells us that the energetic vibrations from our thoughts affect our physical realities. Each of us has the ability to manifest a specific intention through the hado that we send out. However, we are often unaware that our thoughts are creating vibrations in the world outside our minds. Once we know that this is the case, we can become more aware of our negative thinking and train ourselves to stay positive and think with intention. Giving thanks for a meal before we eat can change the energy of our food. Expressing gratitude by thoughts or words makes a huge difference to both the giver and recipient because you are sending them hado. A kind smile really makes a difference when you work consciously with hado. Once we begin to know this power, we can create positive changes in every area of our lives: our physical space, mental and emotional health, relationships, and businesses. One of the most important principles is to monitor your thoughts and intentions every day. When you consciously work with hado, you can bring more joy to your life and the world around you.
