11-17/05: Hair Loss
Hair loss can show up at any stage in your life, sometimes quietly at first, sometimes suddenly. For many women, it brings a mix of frustration, confusion, and that underlying worry of “what is actually going on here, Am I going to lose it all?”. And the harder you try to fix it, the more overwhelming it can start to feel. Luckily for many women it is more simple than we think but at times it can be a combination of lifestyle, nutritional gaps, and a few key areas that are often missed or not addressed in the right order. In this week’s focus inside the hub, I’ve broken it down in a simple, practical way so you can start to understand what matters first, what to look at next, and how to stop guessing. Premium members, click on each file to get access: - PDF Reference Guide - A simple breakdown of the most common reasons behind hair loss, plus a clear list of foods to focus on more often. This helps you understand the “why” and what to prioritise nutritionally without overcomplicating it. - Video Training - A step by step walkthrough covering the foundational approach first, and then what to consider if those basics are not quite shifting things. This is where you get clarity on the next layer of support. - Meal Plan - A structured way to make sure key nutrients like protein, zinc, iron, minerals, and antioxidants are consistently covered through food. Includes practical meal ideas plus simple nutrient boosting add-ins you can use daily. If you are not a premium member yet and want full access to these resources plus everything else inside the hub, you can upgrade anytime and get immediate access to the full library. I had lots fall out post-pregnancy and it's never quite gone back to normal. The autoimmune conditions won't have helped either probably!

@Naturopathic coach Kelli that would probably fix all manner of sins actually!
April Live: What Is The Body Telling You
Body is smart and body talks, we just need to tune in and listen. We should not suppress or label any cravings, or even thin it is a lack of willpower. If we keep ignoring this, the message will become stronger, the little craving may turn into fully blown imbalance. In this session I will cover the reasons behind the most typical cravings - chocolate, sweets, salty and fatty foods. I answer what could be missing and how to help yourself. And of course, we have to explore some of the non physical aspects too - your moods, patterns etc. It is all one body and we are here make sense of it all. Premium members click here for access.

I so need to start listening more (and also sleeping instead of fixing things with chocolate...)

@Naturopathic coach Kelli I reckon it's almost always sleep, because if I think about it, half the time I don't even want the chocolate
If you joined this community from my Facebook ad and only popped in once… this is for you.
You joined for a reason. Maybe it was: - Weight gain that won’t budge - Inflammation - pain in joints, back etc - Bloating. - Tiredness - Brain fog - Hormonal or thyroid issues - Issues with liver - Autoimmune struggles - Insomnia Or maybe you simply wanted to learn the best way to eat for your health and age. And the beautiful thing is… these are exactly the kinds of things anti-inflammatory eating and clean, nutrient-dense food can support. Then life happened. Maybe you meant to come back “when things calm down.” Maybe you forgot. Maybe you had trouble getting into the hub (if that's you just check for instructions at the bottom). 🫶 One important mindset shift… Don’t let this become something you almost did for your health. And please don’t believe the common myth that real change starts when you finally feel motivated enough. IT DOESN'T Real change starts with one small step before you feel ready. And then another. That’s consistency. You do not need to figure everything out at once. In fact, I don’t want you focused on the big picture right now. One of the biggest mistakes people make is imagining getting healthy means changing everything overnight…giving up all the foods they love, …becoming some kind of “health freak”…and doing it all perfectly - stress, stress, stress. No. That thinking overwhelms people before they begin. The best results I see are with women who take it one day at a time, one step at a time. Simple shifts. Repeated. That’s where momentum comes from. So just come back in… and take one step. That’s enough to begin. CLICK HERE and do only one thing today. Check out the STEP 1. Thats it. Then you sit down and tell yourself that this is enough for today :) If you’ve found your way back, comment I’m here below 👇

Umm I didn't get here through the ad, and I have visited more than once, but I have also been really slack with it and needed this reminder. There are plenty of changes I need to make for my health, but sometimes (often) the chocolate biscuits just feel easier. I need to not let that stay the status quo.

@Naturopathic coach Kelli that does make sense!
27/04-03/05 Artificial Sweeteners
Ohhh another unnecessary substance that creates so much disruption in our health, and to be honest, even research now shows how these are not serving the purpose they originally were invented for. This week we are taking a closer look at where the artificial sweeteners show up in everyday foods, how to start recognising them, and how to become more confident at spotting hidden sources in your diet. Can you believe they use them even in kids vitamins????? To make things easier, I have created a very clear action plan to help you put this into practice without overwhelm. For my Premium Members I have the following, just click on the files to access all the info.: 1) PDF "Food Additives: Artificial Sweeteners" explains what artificial sweeteners are, where they are found, and the possible effects they may have in the body so you know what to look out for. 2) PDF "Swap The Artificial Sweetener" covers simple real food swap ideas so you can easily replace common products containing artificial sweeteners. 3) This week’s video shares my personal opinion on artificial sweeteners, the more surprising and often missed detail about health effects and shows you how to become a “label detective” so you can confidently identify hidden sweeteners in foods. If you are currently on the free tier and feeling ready to go deeper and actually implement this properly, you can upgrade and join the Premium membership by clicking here.

I used to feel a bit happy with myself that although sugar is too present in my life, I don't really go near the artificial sweeteners. But I have a feeling that if I looked closely I'd be horrified where I'd find them!

@Naturopathic coach Kelli you're probably right. I don't drink Coke at all, but my partner seems to think zero sugar is a much better option - I think it's just an excuse to throw in a whole lot more chemicals
Few unusual things I got from the shops
I love to try new things and get excited when I happen to pop into a shop that has got things I haven't eaten for a long time. So I brought how: 1) Ox tail - ma partner is South African and he is going to make slow cooked ox tail stew. Can't wait. 2) Frozen sea buckthorn berries - extremely high in vitamin C, super for the skin and immune support but extremely sour too. I will use it if anyone starts to get sick in the house. 3) Real black currant syrup - not for me but if anyone wants a sweet drink or a fancy dizzy drink I will use that instead of chemical cocktail into he shops. 4) Goats cheese - lately I am just obsessed so I need it again for salads, with eggs, stuffed the chicken breasts with it, popped it in the soup for creaminess and flavour, on the sliced pear for a snack etc etc 5) Valerian tea in a bag - sticky but sometimes needed for a good sleep. Smells like old socks !! What have you bought lately that you haven't tried before or isn't exactly a staple? Inspire us to try :)

Trauma support shouldn't only live in therapy rooms. I'm a psychologist bringing real skills and support to the people closest to those who need it.
