If this is you at 75%, smashing pocket hole joints, then it goes to show that Woodworking is great strength training as well as a great hobby!
To Pocket Hole... or Not?
I know there are lots of people out there who love pocket holes; but I'm not one of them. Oh, they're useful and I use them when I feel they are appropriate. But that's not the same as people who use them for everything. Like any other method of joinery, there are times when pocket holes are appropriate and other times when they aren't. In this video, I show some places where pocket holes really aren't the best choice available to us.

I’m not a fan of pocket holes, either. This is a great video, Rich! 👍

Some tools just don’t cooperate, no matter how much you practice. Maybe it’s that tricky hand plane that never cuts quite right, the table saw that always feels intimidating, or the tool you just can’t seem to get the hang of. Share the tool that gives you the most trouble — and why — in the comments below! 🏆 Prize: $100 Sawinery Gift Card (aka guilt-free tool money 😏) 📅 Winner announced on September 22!

Thanks, @Dawn Cleofe This is a great video! It’s not exactly the problem I have, but it will fix my rotated blade problem by at least 90%!
How to Remove Glue From Wood Without Damaging the Wood
One of the biggest problems with doing edge-glued panels is glue cleanup. Some people wipe the wet glue off with a damp rag. That works, but can push the glue into the wood's pores, causing finishing problems. Others wait until the glue dries and scrape it off. That's usually harder to do; but eliminates the finishing problem. I've come up with a better way to remove that dried-on glue. Check out this video to see my new Ergonomic Glue Remover tool. You can find this tool on our website at: https://www.sawinery.net/products/ergonomic-glue-remover?utm_source=skool

What a nice, unique tool, @Rich Murphy It’s like a 0° block plane. How well it avoids digging into the wood!

My favourite is a diamond “stone“. It always stays perfectly flat. I can easily sharpen knives, chisels and even carbide router bits.
