I’m changing my life
Time’s up. Over the next month (I started this morning), I’m waking up at 5 every morning to record 2 videos: One for my personal brand that I will share on LinkedIn and more professionally focused, to get consulting clients. One for The Midlife Mystic that I will share on social media for my (small but growing) audience there, and my newsletter, to get coaching clients. Does it scare the crap out of me? Yes. Do I feel like it can transform my life? Yes. Is it guaranteed? No. Am I going to commit to it either way, because I know that on the other side of the next 30 days, regardless of the outcome, I will be a different version of myself—one who has faced his deepest fears around putting himself out there in the world? Hell yes. I’ll keep you updated on my progress. And also, why am I so scared? It’s all just energy right? And physical reality is just a projection of my own consciousness. All just an illusion. When it comes down to it, there’s really nothing to fear. So, I guess it’s time to prove that to myself—and demonstrate it for others as well.

Super random question, Safety is....what did Aaron say?
Aaron has mentioned before something his shadow coach told him, that Safety is ____, and not ____ (i forgot what the blanks were, haha). Anyone remember? Maybe @Joi Rychelle ?
hard to accept but true…
Want to hear something that is hard to accept but is true for most people? we are more like our parents than we think. I know it sucks to admit this or see this the same things you don’t like about mom and dad are patterns you either rebel against or embrace and even if you rebel and don’t like it… the rebelling against is still being controlled by it and what we judge in them is what we judge in ourselves I’ve been reading some books on inner child healing and psychology that have been super insightful for me with both my work and as well as how I can apply it to my own life I’m also going to be going to a transformation retreat later in the year many of my friends have been through that is specifically on healing the child mother and father dynamic and last night I did a meditation before bed connecting to my mom and dad… to when they were 12. Can you imagine having a conversation with your mom and dad when you were 12 and they were too? What emotions would they feel? What challenges do they have? This was super insightful for me I realized that due to my moms childhood… she felt TRAPPED she had to run away around 16 years old due to a certain type of abuse that was happening in the house she felt lonely and scared and didn’t know what to do at 12 years old she had a passive mom that allowed what was happening to happen And I found it very interesting growing up… I felt trapped too having the controlling ex step mom in my life until about 16 as well and a passive parent that at some level allowed it to happen too I’ve never realized how much like my mom I might be she is someone who had to fight for freedom… like I did she is someone who probably felt avoidant of relationships and didn't want to be trapped in them similar to how I have felt in the past too she had a hard time trusting people due to her childhood and I can see that much of the same type of energy that was in her childhood was in mine too having this experience allowed me to gain more clarity around my patterns and to realize that it didn’t all start with me

This is VERY interesting. Hope you continue to research this! I've read trauma and stress response can be passed down to offspring via epigenetics. Anyone know if this is true?
Meditation music
Anyone have any idea the meditation music (as in, the actual tracks) that Aaron uses for his meditations? Thanks a lot!

@Joi Rychelle Thanks Joi
Nobody Told You How Trauma Is Actually Formed 😲
As I have told you already, trauma in the most simple definition is unprocessed emotions. But I have never really went deep in depth about how it is formed, so let us get in then. Let me give you an example from one of the most common traumas. Family trauma. Imagine this, there is a 10 year old kid okay, called Bob, and at random his drunk abusive father will just hit him, it is unpredictable, which leads to anxiety by the way… Let’s say one night his dad was drinking heavily then out of no were he just slaps him across the face, then the dad goes over once again and says “Of you cry I will do it again.” So Bob does not cry, he does not process the emotions he feels so deeply in the moment. Now that emotion is “trapped,” in him until he does the inner work. That is how it is formed.
