Starting my journey into DevOps
After a year using Ubuntu, created a SSH tunnel, managed permission keys to allow only my computers to communicate with my home server, commiting basic repo changes on my Github, and used dockerfiles to stablized my developping environment, it's time to be serious about DevOps and stop patch-working. Starting off with the Mischa's roadmap, I'm going to deep dive into Linux with Arch Linux. Can't wait to show my first milestone!

Looks like having a home sever is quite important.

Hey folks! I’m Jhonatan from Peru. I’m a self-taught full stack student climbing my way through backend territory and slowly stepping into the DevOps wilderness. I just discovered this community (no idea why nobody told me sooner DevOps was an actual thing you could study), but I’m here now and ready to level up. Goal: break into DevOps in 2026.

@Laura Van den Burg Thank you Laura.
After 4 years of daily driving Arch Linux, I’m leaving.
Not for the reasons you’d expect. I’m applying DevOps principles to my personal workflow: treating my workstations like Kubernetes clusters. Watch my latest video right here to find out more: https://youtu.be/gxWgceGx5Os

How does it translate to trainee or apprentice level? Are there seats for people who are just new in the field?
