Hey builders 👋 I’ve been heads-down on my mini app for this cycle, and it’s finally at a point where I’d love your eyes on it. KhalkosPay turns NIM into everyday money. What it does - Buy NIM with local currency or credit card, in 11 currencies including the US. - Cash out to any Nigerian bank. Enter an amount, pick your bank (250+ supported), and we send the naira equivalent to your account. - Cash out by real voice call. You can have a conversation with KhalkosPay AI assistant to cash out your NIM just like talking with a human being - Scan to pay at shops. Merchants generate a printable QR banner for their counter. Customers scan it and pay in NIM, straight to the merchant’s wallet. - NIM gift cards. Pick a design, add a note and a secret code, and share the link. The NIM is held safely until your person claims it, and you can take it back if they never do. NIM gift cards is money wrapped in a gift. What I’m proud of under the hood - No money moves on trust. The server checks every NIM deposit on the Nimiq chain (amount, memo, confirmations) before a single naira goes out. - If a bank payout fails, your NIM is refunded automatically. - Every debit and credit lands in a ledger you can see on your receipt. - The wallet never pops up an approval you didn’t ask for. Every payment is one clear tap. Hi all, I've been building PixelDrop for a while, and it's finally at the "please try to break it" stage. So… come try to break it. 🙂(Not part of Cycle 3) www.pixeldrop.ca What is it? A file manager that sits on top of your own Pixeldrain account. Your files stay in your Pixeldrain, not in some box I own, and PixelDrop is the nice cockpit around it. No lock-in: if you leave, your files are still yours. Fun things to poke at (available for a trial period) • 🚀 Big files straight from the browser. The Chrome extension is live (the site will offer it to you): it sends any size directly to your Pixeldrain, no middleman and no size gymnastics. Edge and Firefox versions are in review and should follow soon. • 🖱️ Right-click any image or video on a web page → "Send to PixelDrop". • 📲 Send to your other devices. Right-click a file, "Send to…", and it lands on your other computer. • 🤝 Send to a friend by PixelDrop ID. They accept, then you can send each other files. • 🔗 Share links that behave: password, expiry, a visit log, download limits. • 📥 Drop Requests. Send someone a link and they upload to you, no account needed. • 🔐 TimeVault. Automatic encrypted backups of folders on your computer. The key never leaves your machine. • 📱 iPhone Shortcut to share a photo to PixelDrop in two taps. • 🧩 "Save to PixelDrop" button for developers (beta). One script tag, and your site can save files into your users' own PixelDrop. Docs: www.pixeldrop.ca/developers • 🌍 Available in English, French, Spanish, German and Chinese. The deal: connect your own (free) Pixeldrain account and every feature is free for 15 days. After that, the core stays free: account, uploads, previews, downloads, and the extension for big files. The extras (sharing by link, Drop Requests, TimeVault, sending to people and devices…) need a membership. Be warned, small honest limits: without the extension, files are capped at 25 MB from a computer and 80 MB from a phone. With the extension, no cap. And yes, it's still young: you will find rough edges.
