What I’m paying attention to right now
I’m noticing that most friction in small businesses doesn’t come from lack of effort. It comes from: Unclear prices Unclear boundaries Unclear expectations (from customers and from ourselves) When those are fuzzy, everything feels personal. When they’re named, decisions get lighter. I don’t have a finished system yet — I’m building it in real time. I’ll share what holds and what breaks as I go. If you’re working through similar questions, feel free to observe alongside me. No action required.

How this group will work (and why)
Before this grows, I want to be clear about how I’m thinking about this space. This group is for learning by doing — not performing, selling, or pretending to be experts. A few simple boundaries so expectations are clear: This isn’t a promo space This isn’t about hacks or hype It is about sharing what you’re building, trying, or learning If something doesn’t fit, it doesn’t mean it’s wrong — it just means it belongs somewhere else. Clarity early makes things smoother for everyone.

Welcome to Back To Basics Co
Welcome. This community is about learning real, practical skills—archery, handmade work, and self-reliance—by actually doing them. No hype. No pretending to be experts. Just people learning, sharing, and improving together. If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself: • Where you’re from • What skills you’re curious about • What brought you here Glad you’re here.

@Daisy Tech Thanks, Daisy — glad you’re here. For now I’m keeping the group simple and focused on learning by doing, but I appreciate the offer and look forward to seeing how things take shape together.
What this group is for (and what it isn’t)
This group isn’t a course and it isn’t a feed. It’s a working room where I’m documenting how I build pricing rules instead of guessing or chasing opinions. That means: I’ll share decisions and constraints as I define them Some posts will be incomplete on purpose Not everything here will be explained right away This is not: a place for hype or motivation a place for debates a place where every question gets answered If pricing has ever felt emotional or unstable for you, you’ll probably recognize yourself in what gets posted here. That’s enough for now.)
