🎉 Happy New Year, Everyone
It is always a good time to reflect on everything you accomplished this past year and to set some goals for what you want to achieve in the new one. Thank you for helping us build such an awesome community over the past year. I cannot wait to see how much more it grows by the end of 2026. Cheers, Nate

The battle for market share…
Google’s Gemini has already captured 18.2% of generative AI web traffic in 2025—up from just 5.4% a year earlier—while ChatGPT’s market share dropped from 87.2% to 68.0%, signaling a dramatic competitive shift that experts are calling a “clear takeover arc”[finance.yahoo +1] If they can capture this size of market share, we should look at what is prompting the increase. How will that value benefit us. Pairing with each entity brings benefit when using Gemini with Notebook LM with Pomelli. Manus and Meta, is another pairing to investigate to see if the use combined makes the cost more feasible. Cost containment is important when we count pennies. More important to have a tight ship because you can control the bleeding when it comes Happy New Years Eve from the Ledesma Hudson Family!

Such a powerful insight @Ruben Ledesma Hudson The shift in market share is definitely something to watch closely. Exploring the value behind Gemini’s growth and how strategic pairings like Notebook LM or even Manus with Meta could enhance functionality and cost efficiency is so smart. Cost control is often overlooked in the excitement of innovation but you're absolutely right, running a lean and intentional setup makes all the difference in the long run. Wishing you and the Ledesma Hudson Family a joyful and prosperous New Year’s Eve!

Incredible to see OpenAI setting new standards not just in innovation, but in how they value talent. Compensation like this reflects the magnitude of impact expected from their team. It’s a reminder that when you consistently deliver real outcomes, your value speaks for itself. Excited to see how this shapes the future of work and tech.

Biggest Sales Mistake in DMs
The Biggest Sales Mistake I See in DMs People try to be impressive. Big words. Big promises. Big explanations. But buyers don’t want impressive. They want understood. Best-performing DMs are: – short – specific – calm – human If your DM sounds like a landing page, rewrite it. Rule of thumb: If you wouldn’t say it out loud to a stranger, don’t send it. They want to simple, easy to understand for them, makes ROI. 🎊Looking for suggesting:- 1.who you're DM structure work's? 2.More add-ons? 3. You're doing this manually or with agent's? 4.Which part you sale's you Automates? {For me :- lead generation} 5.which one you prefer Cold calles or DM outreach?{ For me:- depends on situations}.

This is such a real take trying to impress often backfires. Simplicity, clarity, and empathy always win in the DMs. To add to the convo: 1. My DM structure works best when it's conversational, curiosity driven, and focused on them, not me. 2. Add-ons that help: voice notes, short vids, or proof of results (only when relevant). 3. Doing it manually for now it keeps the quality and tone personal. 4. I automate lead gen too, but keep the actual convo human. 5. Cold calls or DMs? Depends on the offer and the person some need a real convo, others are cool with async chats. Great post!

Thank you @Muskan Ahlawat I'm glad you found the add-ons helpful. Keeping things manual can definitely give you more control, especially in the early stages. Wishing you continued success with your process!
Launched in 14 Days. Here's What I Cut.
Two weeks from idea to paying customers. What I cut: - User profiles (they don't need them yet) - Settings page (hardcode everything) - Admin dashboard (I can use Supabase UI) - Multiple pricing tiers (one tier to start) - Password reset (manual for now) - Mobile responsive (desktop only) What I kept: - Core feature that solves the problem - Stripe checkout - Basic auth Shipped. Got feedback. Built the rest later. What can you cut to speed up your timeline? Sometimes it's simply a first movers game. ⚡️

Love this breakdown @David Iya It’s a great reminder that speed and focus on the core problem can go further than perfection. Stripping it down to what actually matters is such a smart move thanks for sharing the real behind the scenes!
