Has this group gone rogue?
I feel like this is mostly spamming now, just people coming in to sell not share…just me?

@Kole Whitty Yep, I've been here for a minute and it's definitely devolved unfortunately. But the classroom section is mostly what I'm here for. Also, HI!! I'm a big time follower of your work too!
Skool “Hobby” pricing $9/mo
For everyone who has wanted to start a group but have been put off by the price - Skool now is offering a $9/month Hobby price group. I had moved away from starting a community for my consulting clients (mostly because of the management side), but now am considering it again. How about yall? Anyone considering starting a “hobby” community?

Thanks for posting this; I wouldn't have known! I've been hesitant to open a group on Skool because of the $99/mo price tag. This feels like a better way to trial it out.

@Éva Raposa I just did! Working on setting it up currently. You can check it out so far here: https://www.skool.com/conservatory-of-magick-9162/about?ref=d3a386a4a74c4ba7ac52fc242004e41d I am going to have to switch to the Pro account once I open it officially because I want to use affilates. :)
Course first or content first?
Hi everyone! I have an idea for a course I want to make. I have extensive knowledge in the industry and am excited to start posting on social media about it. My question is: is it better to create a course first and have the course inform what I post/market online, or should I just start posting valuable content related to my niche while I'm creating my course?

I've done it both ways and found that creating content before the course (and asking for sign ups) has been far more successful and lucrative than even fully figuring out the course. I used to waste so much time designing sales pages and course slides, only to have no one sign up. But the reverse has led to far more interest, more sign ups, and I could create the course after money was already in hand. A much better model for me! Worked even better than validating with a webinar, just created a basic invitation with the course premise and sold to a warm list.
Pls tell me if this is crazy?
I'm launching an online workshop on 2/6 called "Why You're Still Jealous (even after doing *all the work*)." I want to use the recording in an evergreen funnel, but I don't know what my offer should be! I'm a 1:1 coach, so I have a 6 month coaching program which feels too big to offer on a webinar or as part of a funnel (That coaching container is $5k, with sliding scale options). I normally bring people in through a free 90 minute conversation (I know @Mariah Coz you must be rolling your eyes rn, but I truly haven't found another way that works yet!) So I was thinking of doing a split offer...which maybe sounds crazy...and offer the free 1:1 for people who are interested in the coaching package. I would be explicit about the 6 month coaching container contents and that the call is a designed to see if we're a good fit for working together. The other offer would be a low-ticket "Break in Case of Jealousy Bundle" that offers practices for those who want to rewrire their patterns to be more secure, and they feel like they want to do that journey on their own. My premise for splitting the offers is a "together" route or a "solo" route. Crazy? Can it work? Would love to hear anyone weigh in!

@Amanda Warfield Oh, I like giving the solo option as a downsell. I didn't even consider that. TY!
Started Charging My Worth & WOW
Launched sign up for a 6-week course today with an early bird special of $597 for the first 5 to register and $697 for the next 5 (regular price is $997). I had 4 sales for $2400 on the first day. 🙌🏾 Combined with my digital products, I had my first $2500 day. I love what I do and would do it for free but it feels so good to finally feel like people really value my voice. I will pitch daily until class begins on February 8th. I've been lurking up til now but this community is so inspirational.
