Are we treating disease instead of creating health?
Did you know that only about 3-4% of healthcare budgets is spend on prevention? How come our healthcare systems work in such a way that we only intervene once illness has been diagnosed? I have written my first article for Brainz magazine putting this question up for discussion. Have a read and follow for more insights and information to come! https://www.brainzmagazine.com/post/are-we-treating-disease-instead-of-creating-health

Nice article! As for "How come our healthcare systems work in such a way that we only intervene once illness has been diagnosed?" I think I have a very negative view on it. Preventive Healthcare makes less money for companies.

This is not advise that I was given, but somethings I came across online in different variations: "It's better to be bad at running, than to be good at sitting on the couch" Or "It doesn't matter how slow your pace is, it's still faster than sitting on the couch" So, in other words. It doesn't matter if you're not good at it (yet), it's still better than doing nothing.
