Commitment to myself
i commit myself to building my dream self, as i want to make myself genuinely happy and want to be able to show up for myself, being a kid i’ve always been abit trouble, out of place and never really had a thought of a future for myself and has never really had anything going on for me, as i would always have a mindset negative towards myself with everything around , the kid who has dreams and a assert his true self ambitions to grow and learn and to doubt the people around me and prove everyone them wrong. To honour this commitment, I will build and constantly work on building a stronger mindset, by stepping out of my comfort zone, allowing myself to accept mistakes and learn from them and taking those mistakes as a learning lesson Steps I would take include: Having a Healthy Diet ( to keep healthy ) and also consistently doing physical activities at-least 5 times a week 2 hours a day Having a Postive Mindset towards everything and making sure nothing is impossible and there’s always a way through to everything Giving it my all into everything, and never giving up Aim for progression not perfection , each and everyday is an opportunity to gain and grow , also learning to be patient with myself , seeking for ways to constantly improve each day!

Good stuff bro 👏
Commitment to myself
I commit to building my dream self because I want to be able to show up for myself, the little kid inside of me that always doubted himself and cared about everyone’s opinions because of the negativity that silenced him. The kid who has dreams and a desire to express his true self, and his unuiqity freely. To honour this commitment, I will build on myself by conquering each day to be the best version of myself. Tackling 3 wins daily. mental win - Doing one mentally straining activity - reading a book (meditations) , writing in journal (self reflection) , creating content, watching barber content (Josh o.p.) physical win - performing one excercise a day. E.g. bjj, run, walk, kickboxing 45 minutes everyday spiritual win - reading the bible 10 minutes daily, meditation, yoganidra This will set me up in my creative journey as a barber, content creator, entrepreneur. I will also practice visualising the higher version of myself more often, create more connections and network with individuals. Run into the dark where there is no light, just so I can get out of it. “If you wait for perfect weather you will never plant your seeds” stop procrastinating.

Bro love the detail in this, first paragraph really hit man can relate to that for sure. Awesome stuff
Commitment to myself
I commit to building my dream self because I want to make something of this life that was given to me, and to show my dad that all the wisdom he instilled in me eventually paid off. To honour this commitment, I will keep holding myself to the standard of which my dream self would do, and want me to do. Steps I would take include: Consuming a healthy diet and continuing to go to the gym consistently throughout the week (maintain physical exercise), to ensure my body stays clean and active Positive self affirmation journalling in the morning to remind myself of who I am and what I'm capable of Spending quality time with those around me and sharing memorable experiences with them Consuming or practising at least one barbering-related thing each day

@Von Herman cheers bro appreciate it
Today's recap (17/2)
Continued graduation from last week - Need to improve on flipping the comb over and under when pulling out the section - Technique was wrong as I was angling my finger into the mannequins head too much, and ended up cutting the hair too short - Need to put the comb in between my thumb and index finger when cutting section's - Also correct posture to prevent tension and strain in the shoulder mostly Definitely a challenging one today but taking it all as a learning experience to teach me how to improve in the future.

Haircut attempt
Did a haircut on my older brother. I'm aware the fade is pretty terrible but I definitely tried to apply the scissor and sectioning techniques we've learnt so far in class. Honest thoughts and feedback would be much appreciated. Cheers
