Great list!!
I’m not sure it’s working.
So today I woke up at 5:30, 30 minutes before I planned to. Grabbed my bedside water cup and drank it all as I went downstairs to grab coffee. I did my pushups, 15 today because I’m on what I’m calling the Josh challenge, I’ll add one more to it tomorrow. Sipping my coffee and watching the eat video. Listening to Greg talk about how the body burns and stores energy just helped put in perspective some things I have been reading lately. I was a little worried that he was going to throw out a crazy diet plan, but he didn’t, it was just about making a plan built around some easy changes. ADAM worked and it didn’t take the whole week. I am excited to get committed to this way of seeing food, and it’s great to know I have a community of people supporting me including my wife and daughter. I’m going to go take a walk outside now with my wife, enjoy the day fellow H40 family. And yes it is working.
In a world of instant gratification…
In a world of instant gratification, I love that we have to wait to get to the next level. One step at a time, one day at a time. Improves patience and focus. You can’t develop good habits in a day, it takes time. Light the path, enjoy the journey!
Up and ADAM
ACTIVATE- this is probably simpler than you think, a little bit of breath work or deep breathing, 10 or 20 air squats, five or 10 push-ups, 100 pull-ups (kidding) DRINK - 16 ounces of water within 16 minutes of waking up APPRECIATE - ask yourself what’s right about everything in your life, journal, prayer, or find the beauty in everything all around you MEDITATE - this is the hard part for most people, but sit there, close your eyes, and get lost in between your thoughts. Make sure you’ve watched the ADAM Morning video on our YouTube channel Good morning!!!!
