Periodization
Hello! I was wondering if you use some kind of periodisation (accumulation/intensification, for example) in your programming and what you think about it? Are these methods mainly reserved for people at a really advanced level? It's a subject I find really interesting, but I know it's not suitable for everyone and simpler methods can work just as well, especially when you're starting out with calisthenics

Haha, I must admit I had to read it several times to make sure I understood everything 😵‍💫! But now I have a few questions: Did you notice any significant differences when you started a programme like the one you have now, compared to the old format, which I imagine was simpler? Sometimes I wonder if the investment in developing the programme is really worth it. Do your sessions change in terms of exercises between your different blocks (hypertrophy, skill, strength), or do you mostly keep the same ones but with different training variables (e.g. larger/smaller repetition intervals, intensity)? Because if I take the example of someone who can do a 3-second FRONT LEVER, I would do: hypertrophy: Assisted front lever (band) x sets of 10s hold, progression row/raise front lever x sets of 8-10 reps and a few accessory exercises strength: front lever hold 3s, lower reps but better progression In any case, thank you for your answer ;)

Okay, that's pretty interesting ! I do think that everyone reacts differently to training programs. For some people, it works, but for others, it may be necessary to try other things to make it work

I am stuck and i think I am overtraining My workout split - Mon -Push - Tue-Pull - Wed-Push - Thu-Pull - Fri-Push - Sat-Pull - Sun-Rest

Hello, we can't tell you whether you're actually overtraining. High frequency doesn't necessarily mean high volume. You need to look at the total number of sets/reps/holds you do over the week. But it's true that when you train often, you need to be careful not to do too much volume in one session. Someone who trains every day will have less volume during their sessions than someone who trains 3-4 times a week. You must be able to recover properly between sessions ;)
False grip / skin wrist pain
Hello, When I do false grips, the skin on my wrist tends to rub against the bar and cause burns. I would like to know what you do to avoid this. I thought about wrist straps, but I can't find anything thin enough that won't get in my way. Thank you!

@Ben Harvey I was thinking about that too, but the wraps would have to be thin enough ! Thanks :)

@Simon Imhäuser I'll wait until I have crocodile skin so I don't have to complain about it anymore! #CalisthenicsLife Thanks Simon !
Elbow sleeves
Hello everyone, I'm wondering whether to buy elbow sleeves for bent arm exercises such as dips. I have an anatomical problem where my ulnar nerve dislocates at a certain degree of flexion. With time and the pressure of dips, pain can occur. In short, I wanted to know if you have ever tried elbow sleeves and if they were effective? Do they really reduce pressure? Which brand and model would you recommend? Thanks & have a great day

@Viktor Valouch Okay, thank you! I know it's not miraculous, but if it can reduce the pressure by even 1%, that's great

@Mario Behrends I plan to use it the same way you do. It will only be on days when I feel weak or on particularly heavy or difficult sets 💪 Thank you!

@Pau Sorribas Totally agree, the lack of research is a real shame. But what I notice the most are those who advise their best workout that works for them but without taking into account the fact that their audience is far from having their level / experience. I find that this is often not suitable for those who are watching 🙁

@Pau Sorribas I'm not sure I understand exactly how your week is structured and after which session you're sore for 3 days, but I'm surprised at the duration of your “low volume” sessions. In these sessions, you only work on one skill per session? With 2 or 3 sets in low intensity ?
