What’s the best epoxy?
Hey guys, quick question for the metallic pros: which metallic epoxy floor system has given the best real‑world results for you, and could you name the exact clear metallic binder and the protective topcoat you trust for durability and UV resistance?

Hey Jake 👋 great question — you see this one a lot. After testing just about everything out there, the system that’s given us the best real-world results — both visually and structurally — uses MatriX LVX, a low-viscosity, 100% solids clear epoxy with a long open time and dense cure. It gives the metallics that deep, glassy movement without yellowing, soft spots or bubbles. For UV stability, we use MatriX POLY 100X for metallic and white floors. Here’s the epoxy combo that’s proven itself for us: 🔹 Metallic Coat: MatriX LVX Clear — engineered for metallic flow, long open time, and a dense, durable cure that stays clear. 🔹 Topcoat: Polyaspartic, urethane, or ceramic depending on the environment. – For indoor installs, ceramics delivers a slick glass finish with extreme scratch, stain, and chemical resistance. Urethanes have a slight orange peel. – For UV-exposed areas, a high-solids polyaspartic gives excellent flexibility, UV stability, and long-term gloss retention. 💡 The key is pairing a metallic epoxy designed for flow with a non-ambering, high-performance finish coat, but for white floors or metallics that are lighter in color, we use POLY 100X

@Narci Franck Kogbo the concrete and coating school is working on courses and will be producing and putting them out monthly so maybe there would be opportunity in the future for more alignment in France for training and business.

Not to bust anyone's bubble but it's really not free when the person that you're learning from has to be willing to take a side time to teach you what they had to sacrifice many hours to learn So my question would be what is in it for them?
