New equipment
I’m considering getting a new 25” Lavina propane grinder. I’d like something with more head pressure to increase efficiency and have one less piece of equipment that I have to plug into the generator. I’ve only used planetary grinders before and was wondering if I am primarily profiling concrete or removing coatings, should I consider a rotary grinder instead?
Floor Grinder Vs Shot Blaster
So Floor Grinder Vs Shot Blaster - I have been watching install content, and a question came to me as I am trying to decide what equipment to purchase and what equipment to just hire etc. I mostly see Installers using Grinders and then I see some using shot blasters. What is best, or is it a case of choosing the right machine for the right job? Is it determined by project size or the quality of sub-base? In other words, if the slab has a lot of wear and tare or is generally in Rough shape, go with a Floor Grinder. But if the Slab is in really good shape, then should I use a Shot Blaster? Basically, I am imagining various scenarios I might run into, and I am trying to educate myself so I can walk onto a project and know what I will need. I am also trying to decide if I should buy the Larger pieces of equipment at the start or simply hire. Some words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
L16EU
Were thinking of buying a L16EU lavina for when we have tight spaces or stairs. Mostly prep for flake and grind and seal jobs. If you used one would you buy it again or would you do something different
