Hey guys, Going away for the next few days to a Tres Dias retreat. Leading up to this weekend I've had plenty of reservations against being even interested in going. But I'm reminded of: Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” I don't know what this weekend holds, but I know who holds me. Hey guys, Our brother from our group, Chris Philpot, is facing a tough season with his home life and unemployment. He has temporarily moved back to Louisiana to stay with family until he can get back on his feet, which is why we didn't see him this past weekend at our Forge meeting, connect group, or church service. Since we didn't see him I reached out and I had found all of this out on Monday. I have encouraged him to find a good Bible based church and stay connected with like minded Christians for support and accountability.
