@Arun Sahadeo that's part of it, but it's more about the long-term sustainability. I encourage everyone to pursue financial freedom by spending less than they make, no matter how high or low their income. Fixating on the next thing you want to be able to afford can sometimes curtail the development of your savings muscles. When you make little, saving for specific goals can easily end up serving as an excuse to spend all of that money that you had been saving. (which means that, net, you didn't save anything at all). Further, when you make a lot and can afford to buy whatever you want, saving for specific goals is no longer compelling / motivating. When we save for savings' sake, to build that value and strengthen that muscle, we end up better off in my opinion.
Thinking of you guys during my vacay <3
I was traveling these past 5 days with my family and I came across this sign in a restaurant that made me think of you guys. It reads: "dreamers and doers" Well put, if you ask me :) In the world of personal finance influencers and mantras, often you'll get content that is extremely overcompensated towards one side or the other. The "dreamer" side of personal finance likes to overpromise and underdeliver, encouraging yolo investment decisions and lifestyle choices, wishing that money will just show up in their mailbox to bail them out or that a high paying job would call them up out of the blue to hire them. Influencers make themselves out to be gurus with the 'secrets' to your success - but of course, those secrets are always kept behind a pay wall behind another pay wall behind another pay wall, until you either run out of money or hope - whichever comes first. To be a 100% DREAMER is perhaps a suitable coping mechanism for pain, but it is not a viable path to freedom or wellness. The "doer" side, on the other hand, likes to feast on your insecurity and self-loathing by bullying you into more and more action without giving respect to your happiness or taking a moment to zoom out and consider if there is a more strategic and balanced path towards your goals. It's all work, work, work, work. Who cares about the results? Who cares if you're happy? Who cares if you lose your friends? You just have to keep doing more, simply because the doer influencer said so ๐Ÿ˜… And again, if that's your way to cope with pain (as we all suffer in innumerable ways in this life), I cannot fault you. But be forewarned, to be a 100% DOER is by no means a more viable path to freedom or wellness. Where does that leave us? Hmm.. .. If only you could be a dreamer AND a doer .. ๐Ÿ˜ To be one who consistently taps into your heart, listens to your emotions, follows your gut, lives for what you believe in ... and then activates your dreams into meaningful, substantive, consistent choices.

Are We Ready For Community Events?? ๐ŸšจFeedback Requested!!๐Ÿšจ
Hey Friends!! First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who has been along for the ride here as I navigate my online presence :D I'm starting to hone in a little deeper on my "what and why" of this skool group, and to give you the short version, I believe this the best platform for me to create COMMUNITY around money mastery and financial freedom. Secondarily, it's also the place where I can create blog-style content posts, offer tech support for BudgetForLife, organize video content in a more helpful way than youtube, and provide coaching services for those who are interested in that. The primary value, though, is community - at least in my opinion. And in my mind, one of the best ways we can be an epic community is if we have opportunities to meet each other, enjoy each other, and overall just have fun and get inspired through shared experiences together. So my main question is - are we ready? Or, for example, do we need to grow a larger critical mass of community members before we launch events? Would love it if you took the time to answer the poll and comment any additional thoughts!! And if you are one who is interested in hopping on a zoom call every now and then - tell me more! How often would you want to meet, what times of day are you available, and what types of events would you be most interested in participating in? Honored and thankful to be creating this space for you guys :) Much love, Jeremy

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm going to continue to give it time for our community to grow for now, but feel free as you / any new members come across this post, to place your votes! Once we have a handful of people that would want to be a part of events we can get them launched in no time :)

Introducing a Youtube & Skool REBRAND Why? Well, what happened is.. I realized I have been taking all of the LIFE out of BudgetForLife by separating out my "personal" financial brand and content. My intent was to avoid coloring BudgetForLife with my own personal financial ambitions so that users could engage with the software in whatever spirit they wished. But as a result, I isolated BudgetForLife as ONLY a software with a list of features, yet lacking any ability to make a profound impact or catalyze personal transformation. And simultaneously, my personal brand was all over the place! ๐Ÿ˜… - I was pumping out alllll sorts of random content that ultimately lacked the legs needed for action taking. By trying to be everything for everyone who may want to join this community or seek my counsel, I made it harder for ANYONE to be able to do so. Now, the software, community, and channel are all a part of one immersive money-mastery experience Glad you're here ๐Ÿ™‚
