Instrument change?
Iโm considering switching from trombone to euphonium next year, Iโm familiar with the valve combinations but Iโm worried that my tone wonโt be as consistent. Any opinions on if changing instruments is necessarily difficult would help.

@Danny Kirkhum Thatโs great to know! I donโt have access to a euphonium so I wonโt have practice before next year. I did not know tone production is usually easier on the euphonium. Considering all of that Iโm most likely going to switch to the euphonium next year.

Unexpected change of speed
Uhm, I found out that in the performance the pieces are faster than I practiced, oh my.

@Danny Kirkhum I was able to play the piece up to speed on concert day, Iโll try to prepare next time I have a concert.
