Hey Everyone! Hope you're having a great week so far. Just wanted to share some news with you - I received a PRS payment this morning, and it turns out that I had my first sync placements last year! PRS has only just caught up, but my music was used on BBC Parliament as well as a couple of Romanian television channels. I've yet to find the actual placements (TuneSat is pulling nothing back at the moment), but I'll try to share them if I find them! As for the amount, it was by no means life-changing - but it was a very nice surprise this morning and covered the reasonably hefty car repair bill that I received yesterday! It's a start, and a real motivator to kick on and keep writing and releasing tracks across libraries of all different shapes and sizes. I'm also happy with the timings - the album launched last May (Q2 2025) and the placements came between July and September (Q3 2025). Obviously mileage varies, but it's nice to see that the tracks weren't sat idle for too long before they were used! Anyway, I hope this is a bit of reassurance for those of you releasing tracks and albums and waiting for the rewards to come back. Music admin is slow and takes time, so be patient and just keep writing! (Apologies to those who already saw this message in The Sync Circle, just wanted to circulate here too and say a huge thanks to @Alex Pfeffer for all of his continued support!)

Hi there I'd like to have some opinions on Trailer Brass by Musical Sampling. I would probably layer them to the Tom Holkenborg Brass when I need to have an even bigger sound. Not sure if that's a good idea so I'm looking for some feedback on this library :)

Hey everyone, I’m excited to share my latest project, called Project Epic Mind, which is a creative workspace designed - at least for now - for epic trailer music. The platform allows you to capture ideas, generate titles, explore chord progressions, and track your production workflow, all while keeping the focus on inspiring creativity rather than replacing it with AI. For those of you that like improved workflows, the new feature within Expression Maps looks really powerful. It allows now for individual articulations attack compensation, so if you are a heavy user of articulations, you don't need separate tracks with the track delay set to -50ms for example.
