Hey Friends, I will be starting a Podcast Motivation Sprint on Monday, May 4th, weekdays through May 12th, and hope you can participate. It will be a 7 day, intensive course to create, launch and distribute a podcast. There will be assignments each day, bonus's each day, and by the end of the Sprint, you will have a podcast episode to use either as a sizzle reel, launch vehicle, or trial run. It will be both virtual and have open chats available. You do NOT need any equipment. Just a desktop, laptop or tablet with a camera, microphone and a good internet connection. You can either use the sprint to learn the steps and create a "sample podcast," for the course, or use it to launch your own original podcast or sizzle reel for a podcast, that will be up to you. However, you WILL have a fully produced podcast episode created by the end of the course. (You must have time available to record your podcast episode on Thursday, May 7th) If you want to be part of the Sprint, I am requesting a one-time fee of $50 to cover the expenses of running the Sprint, creating the courses, recording your episode and giving the feedback. The goal of this group is not just to be all Scott all the time, you all have wisdom and please participate in posts that I start and feel free to start threads of your own, like Keith did on monetization. And I don't have ALL the answers, if you have done podcasts before and have advice for members, please share with each other. Currently we are an open group, and that will stay that way until we start seeing spammers coming in. If someone in the group messages you with what you feel is spam, please let me know and I will remove from the group. Hey Friends, I thought I would share with you a podcast I did a couple weeks ago, where I interviewed the Director and Co-Stars of a new movie coming out this week on the ALLBLK Network, part of the AMC family. I have been doing podcast interviews for 10 years now and really enjoy the format and getting to learn new things about others. This podcast was with Danielle Nicolet, who you might know from when she co-starred with The Rock and Kevin Hart in the "Central Intelligence," movie in theatres, or maybe her 5 years co-starring on the television show, "The Flash," on the CW, and with Cleo Berry, a very funny actor and director in his own right. Danielle is making her directorial debut and co-starring in this thriller about a podcaster murder, aaack! She does an amazing job and Cleo as her co-star is equally amazing. I hope you like it.
