Right, I've been banging on about event banners again. 😂 Over in the Skool Classifieds recently, I wrote about those event graphics where someone has tried to squeeze absolutely EVERYTHING onto one image. The title. The date. The time. The host. Seven bullet points. Three logos. A website address. Their inside leg measurement... Until the whole thing starts looking less like an event banner and more like Where's Wally? So now I'm turning it over to you. If you've got an event coming up, I want you to create a banner that actually does what an event banner is supposed to do... STOP THE SCROLL. Your title should clearly tell people what your event is about. It should be big enough to read easily, with a clean, eye-catching design that doesn't have seventeen different things fighting for attention. You can include your date, time and timezone, your name and a good image, but keep it simple. You don't need to explain your entire event on the banner. That's what your post is for. I've added two examples to this post, one showing how simple and clear an event banner can be, and another showing what happens when we try to tell people absolutely everything before they've even decided whether they're interested. 😂 NOW IT'S YOUR TURN 👀 If you've got an upcoming event that hasn't yet been registered with Skool Events Daily, we're setting you a challenge. It doesn’t have to be next week. If you’ve got something happening the week after, next month or even further ahead and you want to start getting some visibility around it, get it registered now. Have a quick read or listen into Heather Des and Heather have been very busy behind the scenes working on a few secret missions for Skool Events Daily and the first one is nearly ready to be revealed. The big warning is that when the first new project launches, membership prices will be increasing because SED is investing in new ways to help members promote their events and reach further.
