Weekend Reflection 😌
Look back on your week and answer one of the following questions: - What am I most proud of myself for? - What did I learn? - How did I take care of myself? - How did I take a baby step toward becoming my desired future self? - What do I want to take with me from last week? - What do I want to leave behind? Don’t feel pressured to answer all of those questions, but see which one(s) feel easiest to answer!

This week, I’m most proud of what I’ve accomplished Coding❤️‍🔥 I’m learning something new and I’m really in love with how well I’m picking things up.
I owe you an apology.... also a quick update!
Hey gang... it's been a while... sheesh, I am SORRY! I did not plan to go MIA from our group here, but I realize it's been sitting here dormant for the past month or so 🫣. A couple of new members have joined in the past couple of weeks, so I want to say WELCOME, and I'll try to reach out to you directly to say hi! But then I saw that one of the new members I admitted posted a spam post in the community here, 😒, so that person has been removed from the group. Sorry about that! That's the first time I've had to ban someone. I guess that stuff is bound to happen sometimes with online groups. But it is a bummer when it does! So just a quick personal update on why I've been AWOL... I started a new job at the end of Feb, and my son AND my husband have birthdays in March, so I was pretty busy between work and party planning. Oh, and we started a construction project to renovate our backyard. So it has been a BUSY month! I'm sure you've been doing stuff too! I'd love to hear how you've been! Please feel free to fill me in in the comments below! Stay tuned for more action around here! I had some things in the works before I got side-tracked, so I'm excited to pick those back up!

Accountability is super important and I love your post🥰 I’m not gonna lie some days. It is really hard for me to show up and put in my participation in my efforts- some days are much easier… What matters is that we’re here and we’re doing it🥰 also happy birthday to you and your son!!!
How many days a week would you LIKE to practice yoga?
I'd love to know! And in the comments below,👇 let me know how many days on average you practice yoga right now, and what's holding you back from practicing more?

I try to practice everyday- ultimately I get 3-4 days a week at the moment and this is something I would love to work on- however I’ve been doing a ton of positive alignment work and that has kept me where I need to be at this time❤️‍🔥
On average… how many days a week do you meditate?
Meditation is a big part of yoga & Buddhism. It is a great way to give our body and mind a little break, but also to “check-in” with ourselves. During meditation is when we strengthen our “mindfulness muscles” so we can respond more intentionally to the chaotic and unexpected things that happen in everyday life. It also gives us space and time to absorb the good that is happening, so we can embrace gratitude and joy 🤩 Yoga can be a “moving meditation” for sure. 🤸 But it was originally used as a way to prepare the body for an extended sitting meditation. 🧘 Then idea was to get the wiggles out, strengthen and lengthen the muscles so you can prepare the body for sitting for a longer period of time. Time to harness your focus and get closer to enlightenment. But, did you know, that even 1 minute of intentional focus counts as meditation? So, how many days a week do you often meditate? (It’s ok if it’s zero! No shame or judgement) And in the comments, let me know what your goal is (even for just 1 minute 😉)

@Shauna Hay-Viets it sure is 😂😂 when my babies were younger I would have them meditate and do yoga with me as much as I could, do you love to include your children as well?

If you hosted a yoga self-care workshop, I would like to see maybe like four mini modalities inside of that- maybe some yoga to ease pain attention throughout the whole entire body, perhaps may be a quick little energizing yoga class, a meditation class focusing on the love that you are, maybe a meditation class focused on clearing the mental clutter- just examples but something along these lines🥰 what would your ideas be?

@Shauna Hay-Viets we really are on the same page!! Those four pillars movement, meditation philosophy, and lifestyle are a great place to start for a self care yoga class!! I love the aspect of a quick little discussion and meditation paired with the practice!! it would be an awesome class. I would love to attend.🥰
