šŸ„• Carrot or 🄢 stick — which one actually gets you moving?
There are two kinds of motivators in this world: šŸ„• The carrot people — they're chasing the reward. The income goal, the dream client, the feeling of finally launching that thing. The what's possible is what lights them up and gets them off the couch. 🄢 The stick people — they need a little pressure. A deadline, a consequence, a "I told people I was doing this and now I actually have to." The avoiding the ouch is what activates them. Neither one is wrong! I'll go first — I'm a carrot person with a stick backup plan. šŸ˜‚ I can feel the vision all day long... and then also sign up for something public so there's an actual deadline. But anymore, I just find deadlines stressful and avoid them as much as possible. Drop yours below šŸ‘‡ šŸ„• Carrot — the reward pulls me forward 🄢 Stick — the consequence pushes me forward 🤷 Both / It depends (And if you want to say why, I'm here for it — this stuff tells you so much about how to set up your systems and goals in a way that actually works for your brain.)

It definitely depends on the situation but lately the stick is a slightly larger motivator!
FriYAY! A little this or that... Spring Edition
Happy Friday all! It's been QUITE a week šŸ˜… (more on that in a bit...šŸ‘€), so let's have a bit of fun and get to know each other a bit better! This or That: Spring Edition - Spring cleaning or pretend you didn't see it? - Real Easter egg hunt or plastic eggs? - Peeps or Cadbury eggs? - Deviled eggs or we skip those? - April showers or May flowers? - Iced coffee season or still hot? - Spring break trip or staycation?

- Not even pretending I didn't see it. Just not doing it. 🤪 - Neither right now, but in general I like real eggs. - Both! I've always loved Peeps, and those Cadbury Eggs are amazing. Also, Starburst in the Fave-reds flavor. I would happily eat all three and call it a meal (and then feel like absolute poo later. Oh wait - I think that was Tuesday's dinner.) - Both! I'm just so happy it's warm I like all of it. - Still hot coffee. - Staycation, if we even get that.
FriYAY! This or That - Guilty Pleasures Edition
Happt Friday! Let's have some fun and learn something new about one another 😊 - Late-night snacking or online shopping? - Celebrity gossip or true crime? - Buy the thing or add to cart forever? - Binge-watch or doom scroll? - Order takeout or cereal for dinner? - Skip dishes or skip laundry?

Online window shopping. Right now, specifically window shopping bathroom fixtures and pendant lights. Neither. I have no patience for either one right now. Mostly add to cart. Lots of carts. (Although I just bought this thing about IG Reels after approximately 7 seconds of research, so there's that.) Binge watch. Both are great. I'll take anything that's not me having to make the decision about dinner. I can't smell the laundry from the basement, so I tend to skip that as long as I can!
Day 2 check-in ā˜• — what's surprised you so far?
Okay, Day 2 of The Rewind Challenge. Quick show of hands (or emojis): šŸ™ˆ — I keep forgetting to track and then trying to remember what I did 😳 — I've noticed something in my days I genuinely hadn't seen before šŸ˜‚ — My "productive" morning was mostly snacks and vibes ✨ — Actually finding this weirdly calming? No wrong answers, just noticing! Keep going — tomorrow is where it gets really good. Tomorrow, I'll share the Rewind Challenge dashboard that takes all your work tracking and turns it into actionable insights šŸ‘€ ALSO - If you're having trouble knowing what to track, I've shared an example from my day today (so far, at least) in the comments!

Ahhhh you're not including time spent on each task - which yes, would have made this SO MUCH EASIER. I am rolling my eyes at myself right now.

Overall, I'd say that I'm a little surprised at how much time I spend in my email box. While some of that makes sense (it's where I interact with clients and receive many of our orders at the day job) a lot of it feels like distracted time.
āŖ The Rewind Challenge starts NOW — here's everything you need
Welcome to The Rewind Challenge: Look Back to Move Forward! ā˜• For the next 3 days, we're doing something a little different... Instead of adding more to your plate, we're getting curious about what's already on it. šŸŽÆ THE ONE THING YOU'RE DOING THIS WEEK: Track what you actually do. All of it. Throughout the day. Work stuff. Home stuff. Kid stuff. The random stuff. The 20-minute scroll. The unexpected errand. The "quick" call that wasn't actually quick... All of it counts. Nothing is too small! The training is live now in the Classroom → Access the Rewind Challenge training here šŸ“ HOW THIS WORKS: Day 1 today — check out the training and start tracking! Day 2 tomorrow — check-in post (I'll be here) Day 3 — I'll drop a handy tool I created (demo in the training) that brings it all together and helps figure out where you can optimize That's it! Easy peasy. Just open something to write in and start noticing your day. ā˜•

Okay, I'm tracking and not sure where the prompts and such are? Just using a piece of pink scratch paper - pink so I can find it on my desk!!! Also, so far I've noticed I spend a terrifying amount of time spiraling in panic about things.
