Yesterday I ran into a good friend and mentioned what I'm doing here in Skool. We've worked together a few times over the years and showed so much excitement about the Skool community concept. I think it's because you get the pain that organisations feel. Welcome @Dean Cox It's absolutely wonderful to have you onboard mate. There are some amazing people within this community. I fully encourage you to join communities that you can relate to. There is a ton of value to be had in this place. Thanks for coming along.
I’d just like to send out a heartfelt welcome to @Darren Mead Welcome to the community, mate. It’s awesome to have you aboard, and I can’t wait to see what you do within Skool when you decide to build your own community.
Today I was pleasantly delighted to see that a fellow student of human factors had joined our community. I met @Bryanna Patterson at a conference last year, where we had a quick yet very interesting conversation around our individual adventures with human factors. When I saw her name pop up this morning, I was super excited. It's great to have you on board within the community Bryanna. I really hope you get a lot out of being here and meet as many friendly people as I have; folks passionate about building communities and mutual growth. Feel free to let us know a little bit about yourself.
Just a heads up that you can probably expect a fair amount of leadership content to come in this week. I’m off to Canberra and a leadership forum with the senior enlisted personnel from the Australian Defence Force. Having the opportunity to attend events like this one is not a responsibility that I take lightly. Being in a position where you have the responsibility to gather intelligence from your work colleagues, take it to leaders of influence, and return with answers that are going to help shape the workforce culture is something that I really get excited about.
