Suggestions needed
I have to pitch to the Chamber of Commerce this Thursday. Here is a rough draft of my pitch: Hello! My name is Jennifer Purcell. As someone who has been in your shoes running a business--I run a crafting business, I was falling behind on doing the books. I had 6 months of receipts, inventory, sales, and sales tax that I was behind on paying. Because I had taken numerous accounting courses, while pursuing my degrees, it was a no-brainer for me to become a bookkeeper. In no time at all, I was able to get my books caught up and to achieve financial clarity. If any of this resonates with you, meet with me after the meeting. How should I tweak it?

I actually came up with a pitch that even Forbes Riley would be proud of. The only thing is that I have really bad short-term memory, and my nerves are shot.
Pitch Template Location Request
I have to pitch to a large crowd at a Chamber of Commerce event next week. Where can I find a pitch template? I am a bookkeeper.

@Joseph Weaver this is terrific! I'm wondering, though, about two things: 1) Do I really need a springboard story? Because I'm not sure if this crowd would want to hear it. If so, I need help coming up with one. I don't feel comfortable sharing about my other business having a stack of receipts dating all the way back to January. That I not only got my books caught up in a short amount of time, but I realized where my pitfalls were--I finally had financial clarity. 2) How should I introduce myself? Any/all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@Paulette Baker I am in a Get Five Clients in Five Days webinar series this week with some Life Coaches. I am not getting anything out of it, but I'm positive that this book will definitely be a great source to help us all.

@Crystal Lochard my second business: I sell both crocheted and knitted items. However, I've only been mildly successful at vendor events. Nobody buys from me from Facebook nor my website.
