🌍 Traveling Abroad? Let’s Talk About Malaria, Dengue & Ebola ✈️🦟🌿
🌍✈️ I have been doing some research for a client preparing for a missions trip and wanted to share some of what I found regarding travel wellness, mosquito-borne illnesses, and homeopathic support options. I am providing a kit with targeted remedies so the individual is prepared for these and other issues along with my two other regular kits for general issues. 🌿🦟 Many people traveling to areas of Africa, Asia, Central & South America look into ways to support the body naturally while abroad. Alongside standard travel precautions and medical recommendations, some travelers also explore homeopathy as an additional wellness support option. 🌿 🦟 MALARIA Malaria is mosquito-borne and is one of the biggest concerns in many tropical regions. Important prevention measures: ✔️ Mosquito nets ✔️ Long sleeves & pants ✔️ Insect repellents ✔️ Avoiding standing water ✔️ Conventional antimalarial medications when recommended Homeopathic remedies historically discussed include: 🌿 China (Cinchona) 🌿 Chininum sulphuricum 🌿 Arsenicum album 🌿 Natrum muriaticum 🌿 Malaria nosodes A malaria nosode is a homeopathic preparation made according to homeopathic dilution principles. Some people choose to include nosodes as part of their wellness protocol while traveling instead of malaria medication. 🦟 DENGUE FEVER Dengue is another mosquito-borne illness found in tropical and subtropical regions. Symptoms may include: ⚡ High fever ⚡ Severe body aches ⚡ Fatigue ⚡ Headache ⚡ Rash Homeopathic remedies sometimes discussed include: 🌿 Eupatorium perfoliatum 🌿 Gelsemium 🌿 Rhus tox 🌿 Belladonna 🌿 Arsenicum album 🦠 EBOLA Ebola is a rare but serious viral illness seen mainly in certain parts of Africa during outbreaks. Important prevention measures include: ✔️ Avoiding exposure to bodily fluids ✔️ Proper hygiene & sanitation ✔️ Avoiding sick individuals ✔️ Following public health guidance Homeopathic remedies historically mentioned in severe septic or hemorrhagic illness pictures include:🌿 Arsenicum album

Never Fear the Flu: Homeopathy and Nutrition for Flu and Colds by Amy Rickman
Last week I was in Orlando for a conference. Many people around me started developing flu and cold symptoms. I was hugging and loving on some of these individuals that were sick. In the past, I would have shrunk back with trepidation. But I didn’t have any fear as I know what to take homeopathically to nip this issue in the bud! Like any conference this one had lots of parties and exciting events besides the main conference. By Friday night, I could feel my throat hurting and a cold trying to take over my body. That night I took a remedy I knew would help. In the morning, I felt much relief that I had the energy and not the flu symptoms to get through the day. On my late night flight home, I had two kids that were right behind me constantly crying and coughing the whole flight. I was feeling cold on the plane and chilled. Then my throat started to hurt. Yuck! I knew I was on the path to getting sick and needed to stop that trajectory ASAP. I reached into my purse and pulled out my homeopathic remedies. I used the flashlight on my phone to see the remedies. I quietly grabbed what I needed. I didn’t get into my bed until 2 am. Right before I went to bed, I took another dose. Normally I would have been sick for the next few days but knowing what homeopathic remedies arrested the issue. Knowing what homeopathy to take has transformed my life and my health. Here’s a guide to what you can use to support your body during flu and colds with some Amazon links that would support my work. Moral of the story is to be prepared not scared! Homeopathic Remedies for Flu and Colds Homeopathy focuses on treating the individual with natural substances that stimulate the body’s healing processes. Here are some well-known remedies that may help relieve flu and cold symptoms. 1. Ferrum Phosphoricum (Fer phos)-Fer phos can help at the first sign of inflammation and is a cell salt.   Recommend taking this one at the first feeling of a tickle in the throat or even a hoarse throat after singing or talking too much.  This is the remedy I reached for both of those times in the last few weeks.  Fer phos may be taken prophylactically to prevent disease.  I actually took a few doses just before I left for the trip and once when I first arrived to get ahead of any health issues.       Ferrum Phosporicum https://amzn.to/3TJ7ppj 2. Oscillococcinum A go-to remedy at the onset of flu symptoms, Oscillococcinum helps reduce the severity and duration of flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, and body aches. It’s most effective when taken at the first signs of illness.  This remedy is made by Boiron and comes in small tubes.  I recommend taking the whole vial for each dose right away when symptoms first appear.  Keep these on hand for when needed.                                                                                             Oscillococcinium: https://amzn.to/4ej1SxI 3. Aconite (Aconitum napellus) 200 and Bryonia 30 Aconite is ideal when flu or colds come on suddenly, often after exposure to cold wind or sudden weather changes. It is particularly useful if the person feels restless and anxious, with fever and sore throat.  Bryonia is helpful for certain headaches and colds where the person doesn’t want to move.  These two remedies may be taken together in the same mouth and are a Banerji protocol.                                                                            Aconite: https://amzn.to/47IdMyJ and Bryonia: https://amzn.to/4dr6dO1 4. Belladonna For flu symptoms that include high fever, throbbing headaches, and a flushed face, Belladonna can help. It's especially effective when symptoms are intense and sudden.              Belladonna: https://amzn.to/4eEZIIO 5. Gelsemium When you experience fatigue, weakness, and a heavy feeling in the limbs along with flu, Gelsemium is the remedy to consider. It’s great for colds that make you feel mentally and physically sluggish.  This one is great when the patient is droopy and just wants to stay on the sofa snuggled under a blanket.                                                                                                         Gelsemium: https://amzn.to/3BkazcJ 6. Pulsatilla For thick, yellow mucus, Pulsatilla may help. It is often recommended for children and adults who feel better in fresh air but worse in warm, stuffy rooms.                                      Pulsatilla: https://amzn.to/4eDcBTG 7. Eupatorium perfoliatum This remedy is used when body aches are severe, particularly in the bones. Eupatorium is a common choice when the flu causes deep aches and exhaustion.              Eupatorium: https://amzn.to/3zvxYaw 8. Influenzinum
