The paper clip method works!!
Hey! If you’re anything like me, making calls can be a bit of a bother whether it’s nerves or something else. I’m the type of person that likes to accomplish things and be able to see my progress. So if I don’t make calls it feels worse than making them. Sometimes in this business, especially when just starting off we don’t feel like we are making progress. Or when you feel like you’ve called 100 sellers and just aren’t getting anywhere! I have started doing 2 things to help me with this and maybe it will help someone else. First thing I do is I have a clear jar with 100 paper clips in it. At the start of my calls I dump it on my desk. After each call I put a paper clip back. This way I’m able to visually see that I’m making progress and I’m accomplishing something as well. That being, I’m cleaning up the mess I just made! The 2nd thing I do, some can but feel free to insert a method that works for you. During the calls I like to solve my rubijs cube while the phone is ringing. It takes about 2 calls to complete or get close. When I complete the cube I get a sense of accomplishment. Of course at the end of all of my calls I feel waaaay better because I’ve completed my task of making calls and I accomplished my 2nd goal of cleaning up the mess I made. Since doing this, cold calling has been FUN for me. Crazy to type that out but it’s ginuinely fun. By giving my mind to another task or two I’m able to have much better conversations and the calls that are “bad” just bounce right off. No matter what your challenge is when making calls or completing tasks, I’d highly suggest the paperclip method or just come up with your own! Hope this helps out any fellow boss out there struggle to do the things! Good luck everybody!

@Cisco Brown best way to start a weekend with a new deal!
🚀 Would You Join a Foreclosure Challenge?
When speaking with Eric today, we discussed one of the biggest struggles we hear from our members—finding motivated sellers. One of the biggest game-changers in our business was focusing on foreclosures and using the Sales Accelerator for a targeted call & text campaign. But what really set us apart was approaching these sellers differently than other investors—offering real help instead of just another lowball offer. 🔥 We’re thinking about running a Foreclosure Challenge! Here’s what it would include: ✅ How to pull a foreclosure list quickly & affordably in your market ✅ Using the Sales Accelerator for a targeted call & text campaign ✅ Standing out from other investors by positioning yourself as a resource (help first, and when they can’t keep the home, you’ll be their go-to solution!) ✅ Working with banks to postpone foreclosure so you can complete the sale ✅ Understanding the foreclosure process to position yourself as an expert with potential leads This challenge will teach you how to differentiate yourself from the flood of investors reaching out to these sellers—so they see you as the trusted expert, not just another person making an offer. Would you be interested? Drop a comment below and let us know!

Your approach is very similar to the way that we used to handle our foreclosures. Would always try and give them advice and help if they wanted to try and keep the house and then if that didn’t work out, you’re right I was always the first one they called back.
Glad to be here!

Tell me....
Hey Deal Boss group! Has anyone done a deal lately? Tell us about it, I would like to hear how the lead came about and if you did a creative deal, used a private lender or a bank to fund it. We need some bell ringing and I always like to hear about deals.

Going Going Gone
We have uploaded quite a few contact lists in the last week. Marketing and going for NO. I am working a few Seller finance deals right now, looking forward to seeing what kind of responses we get on these list. Thanks Jen for all the assistance we have been getting. This list I am uploading now has about 6000 potential leads on it. Lets Go!!
