Breathwork 10/04
Here is today's breathwork programming: A) 30 seconds of Upper Regulation 3 in through the nose and 1 seconds out through the mouth B) 2 mins of recovery breathing 4/4, 4/8, 4/12, 4/16 continue to repeat for the full 2 mins C) Breath Hold Air Squat Ladder 1 big breath in hold 3 Air Squats 2 big breaths in and out on the 2nd breath in hold 6 Air Squats 3 big breaths in and out on the 3rd breath in hold 9 Air Squats 4 big breaths in and out on the 4th breath in hold 12 Air Squats Continue to 21 and then come back down

So a little behind but I did this one earlier and yeah I don’t think my lungs were ready for that. Same as Megan really. I was all good until about 12/15 squats then I really struggled. It was all a little messy - from then on I did a mix of pausing where I was doing a few recover breaths 4/8 and then carrying on from where I was… to then also just taking a pause and just restarting that ‘set’ if you like. So I’m wondering if this is progression thing… keep practicing and we will get better? Able to hold longer. I kept trying to tell myself I was totally ok but it’s like subconscious ruled and I just exploded and gasped for air?
