I'm a pear!
I love pears! They're one of my favorite fruits! Especially dried with cinnamon. Yummmmm.

@Samanda Rasmussen I core the pears, slice into thin slices, and sprinkle the cinnamon on them. Dehydrate at a low temp (110-115 deg F) until they will snap. Around 10 hours. You can also do them in the oven, just pick the lowest temp it goes. They're naturally sweet, so I don't add sugar.

@Samanda Rasmussen You're very welcome!
Just out of curiosity…
πŸ‘‡πŸ» Do you believe/know that your mental/emotional β€œhealth” directly impacts your physical well being… even down to things such as weight gain etc? With the new anti Blitz starting tomorrow, I’m just curious… also that I’m not just talking about the willpower to go to the gym, or eat differently, or commit to anything being a neurospicy human… I’m more so talking about the parts you shove down and refuse to deal with or think about, the conversations you need to have but refuse to, the choice to continue to push through things when you brain and your heart are telling you you need a rest and to chill etc… Editing to add a personal story… for years I masked heavy, trying to fit myself into boxes I was told to, how a good wife looked, a good mom, a good homeschooling parent, a good whatever… it about killed me, I woke up one day diagnosed with hypothyroidism and extreme adrenal fatigue laid up on the couch for weeks trying to get my body to cooperate. The docs told me I just needed more sleep and then wanted me on thyroid pills… I did some herbal stuff and homeopathy, but the true unlock? When I started digging around within, and at the same time allowing myself to break free from the boxes… today I don’t have thyroid issues, I don’t struggle with adrenal issues… our bodies are highly intelligent and always attempting to heal if we choose to actually get curious. Also, prolly controversial, and I’m not sure where the study came from, whether it was a college or a different country… they did a test where half the folks went to the gym and the other half just meditated or did the β€œgym” in their minds and either both lost around the same amount of weight or the ones that didn’t go lost more. And in either china or Japan, I think, they don’t tell someone if they are diagnosed with cancer, they do let family know, but they have found better outcomes by not β€œdiagnosing” and telling the person… wonder why that is… πŸ‘‡πŸ» What say you??
Just out of curiosity…

Short answer - YES. This is what I started my business around. I was a physical therapist for 23 years, and had my own challenges from inherited family trauma. I noticed that my clients who got the best outcomes were the ones who talked about and dealt with the emotional aspect of their physical issue. Fast forward to 2015 - I quit the world of PT and got certified in energy healing. For weight loss, check out Jon Gabriel. He dropped over 200# with mindset (meditation and visualization) and didn't end up with skin folds. And for yourself, you might be interested in Feelings Buried Alive Never Die, by Karol K. Truman. It lists medical issues and the corresponding beliefs behind them, with a script you can use to shift things.

SO HELPFUL!! free community making money, having hecka fun, and getting super chatty in the comments month two of my Small Business Video School and y'alls help and encouragement is everything! just wanted to list all the things that helped while I'm still awake! ============ random things that helped get to 92 members in 32 days: - I've been hanging out in friends' and coaches' Skools all summer and am in the top 5/level 5+ in several of my favorite communities. - I started dropping hints that I'd open my own, so ppl were waiting for me to go ahead and do it - I ran video challenges (3 videos in 3 days) all summer long without Skool (idk how i did it now honestly lol) and my people wanted more help - People started inviting friends - I also make a lot of content on LinkedIn and YouTube and started hinting at stuff in August (I'm starting a secret community to teach ppl video - want in?) and making a list of interested ppl - chat chat comment comment ============ random things that helped me get to #440 engagement: FUN - fun environment - gif abuse - replying to all comments - weekly live calls + making up reasons for live calls - also introducing ppl I knew to each other (so fun seeing all the worlds crss) ENGAGEMENT - early on, dropped a free "stage 1" class in the classroom - "2 Videos in 2 Days" - pinned a post to every part of the class with super simple to-dos (comment LET'S GO, share the video you just made and comment on two other videos, share a takeaway, comment on others' takeaways) - telling ppl I'd give them the class for free when they joined (yay automation) BUT also telling them I'd lock them out if they didn't finish in 48 hours lolol - celebrating when ppl finished GAMES AND PRIZES - making a mini class out of stuff I was already making ("7 Minute Video Edits" - made little video editing tutorials) - making that mini class AND my challenge into prizes for participation - making low-pressure weekend games every Saturday (60 second story jams) with prizes for best entry and a random participation entry - making more prizes - call everything a game haha

Way to go!!!!
First post ever!
Oh hey! This is my very first minute on skool and I'm stoked! Fave color is purple πŸ’œ. For pokemon, i'd have to say Snorlax or Tangela. And for current skool challenge~ just navigating the site and getting started in general. I have a few hobbies I'd love to teach about but choosing which to start with is the most difficult. I'm torn between teaching about plant medicine and sewing or just fiber art in general. Thanks for reading! πŸ₯°

@Rich Guy Ohh...lots! But the basic story is always to remember who we are and how much we are loved and how our world was created with love.

@Ashley A Bunalski YES!!
What's Pokemon??
Hey friends! I just joined the group and went to the Classroom.....following the advice to make a post, and one of the questions is what's your favorite color / favorite Pokemon. Pokemon?? Huh? I mean, sure, I've heard of that, but that showed up like two generations after me. 🀣 I'm here to learn how to revamp and grow my group, and to take advantage of the incredible support and community that Skool offers. I love the outdoors, and am launching a podcast (YT and just the audio piece as a podcast) soon. My goal is to finally replace my husband's income so we have the freedom to move and travel. What are you working on this week??
