Update on the shot
Het Luke, I’ve been implementing your advice, for a part of it, it still feels a bit unnatural but I have to get used to new ways of shooting. I did notice it helps a lot. I wanted to say how incredibly much it means to have someone look at my shot this detailed, I have been looking for advice/help like that all the time in the past, and now you’re making it happen! I might upload some other questions (wether that’s with the shots or something totally different), is that alright? Any further advice or feedback?

Well it’s not just that you give the advice, but often explain why, which I really like and is very informative.
Body checking
What can I do as a short person going into checking how can I give and receive them

Hi brekken, what I think really helped me the most with body checking in games is; -learning to play the game with your head up, this helps you ‘be prepared’ for the check and when the check comes you absorb the hit (or give it) the best when you’re low and have your knees bent. -another thing that is really important is to have a strong core. So incorporating exercise like anti rotation, and stability movement are helpful. -last but not least it’s essential to learn proper hitting technique (give and receive), you might want to ask a coach, trainer or Luke about that. Hope this answers (part of) your question.
Shot inconsistency
So Luke explained in a video that it’s great to have your heel off of the ice (or surface) when shooting, to maximize power (and there’s also less friction). I find it really helpful but notice some inconsistency especially with tdr and snap shots. The puck ends up on my heel (which is in the air) so it comes off soft and low. So my question is what can I do to make sure there’s not that much inconsistency. @Luke Croucher
