Good Evening 1%er's πŸ’ͺ As we head into spring it's time to start thinking about how we're going to execute our off-season plans. 1. Next week will be the beginning of our off-season programming (Mon, April 6th) We will be working out 3x a week >>> Mon/Wed/Fri If you can't make the designated times I will expect you to complete your designated programs. Everyone will have a program that will take them from April thru August! Please remember we do not rise to our goals but sink to our systems. Our habits must be in alignment with our goals to reach those. This removes the friction of forcing yourself to be something. You just become it by simply being it everyday. 2. Short Story Time πŸ“š Lately I haven't been able to get my workouts in due to a couple minor injuries lately, my gf coming in and playing a ton of games lately. With the constant stress - my sleep hasn't been the greatest and the stress of playing so many games late night I've decided to jump in on research on how to better manage my sleep. Here's a quick reel of the what was apart of the longer podcast I've been listening to lately... πŸ“š Sleep Schedule Matters More - When you wake up is more important than what time you go to bed. Similar sleep schedule matters more! 3. Also for my females in the group there's a lot of evolving science & research backing on the supplementation of creatine. (Obviously this is not medical advice, more so thoughts around how to better manage energy levels as a growing women). Bonus 😴 Before bed I've been going lights off, brightness on full LOW and switching on and tuning into the outdoor boys as a bit of peace, quiet and connection to nature. Obviously being in nature is always better. Don't forget to touch grass! Love y'all βœŒοΈπŸ€

What an exciting time of the year my friends!! πŸ‘‰ Please refer to the video below if you were not on the call. 1. The sun is starting to reveal itself, weather is getting warmer and you have yet another off-season to become the next best version of yourself. The off-season is my favourite season because it gives you time to take a breathe, step away from the game for a bit and finally relax. Not going to lie, the constant wear and tear puts more stress on the body than one thinks. So saying that, doing absolutely nothing and just enjoying the next few weeks is completely okay. There's time windows and seasons to go all-in. Don't worry this off-season programming compared to last season is going to be a whole lot different. Lol! 2. Nonetheless, the spring is a time to help you evolve. It's an opportunity to wipe the slate clean. It's the end of a new beginning. Your time to build upgrade your character. So let's do it. Remember to get better at something means you can't get better at anything. Narrowing in our focus this off-season, staying present at the task at hand and controlling the controllables is what will work for us. 3. Some resources lately that I've found helpful πŸ“š ⚽ Watching Ted Lasso again and now rewatching Season 3. Random but love the team building aspect of asking ourselves "What does this situation need?" I think this question can always be asked. And it will help separate your racing mind (emotional, ego driven) to being more logical about the situation. We want to drive self 2 out of us, not judgemental self 1 (the emotional ego mind). Below I shared the scene of Sam, one of FC Richmond's players and his restaurant being destroyed but his team surprising him by already being there to restore it. πŸ’­ I saw a quote today that shard "I helped someone climb mount Everest and found myself looking from the top too" and this video kind of resembled that to me. You help people, and you realize you help find yourself in that process. Be someone of service and you magically you help serve yourself.
